As shown in Fig. 1.2, the conventional sidewall 1 of this kind is made of a one-piece piece made by molding, and is attached to the upper surface of both sides of a pallet 3 equipped with grade 2 of a sintering machine with nuts 4 facing each other. installed. In such a gas sintering machine, the sintered ore raw material 5 supplied onto the grade 2 surface is ignited by a nose in an ignition furnace (not shown), and is sintered while being forcibly sucked by the lower window. As the pallet 3 progresses, the reaction spreads from the upper raw material to the lower raw material, and ends when it reaches the ore discharge side terminal, and the temperature of the side wall also increases to about 800°C at the upper part and about SO at the middle part.
The temperature at the bottom reaches about 600℃. For this reason, the sidewall 1 undergoes a repeated heating/lowering cycle from atmospheric temperature to the above temperature, expands and contracts, and undergoes plastic deformation while the clets 3 are continuously conveyed by heating, overturning, reversing, and cooling by the drive device. The dimensions of each part changed due to changes in the metallographic structure caused by the residual content of the metal and repeated temperature increases and decreases that exceeded the material's transformation point, causing distortion.

Figure 3 shows the situation where this distortion occurs. As is clear from this figure, sidewall 1 has a large distortion in the upper part.
When viewed from the front, both sides are curved upward (a), and when viewed from the plane and longitudinal section, the central portion protrudes toward the raw material supply side and curved (b).

C). The causes of such distortion are that there is a difference in thermal deformation between the upper middle part and the lower part of the sidewall 1, and there is also a large temperature difference between the upper part above the atmosphere, which causes large thermal deformation. This difference extends to the lower VC, which is an integral part.

When the above-mentioned distortion occurs, the / on the sidewall 1 attached to the pallet 3 as shown in Figure 4.
A gap 6 is created between the bottom of the sidewall 1 of the e-letter 3 and between the sides of the adjacent sidewall 1, and a leakage air is generated that is forcibly sucked in when firing the raw material 5, making it impossible to perform uniform firing. There are drawbacks such as loss of power consumption and reduction in production efficiency.

In order to achieve the above object, the sidewall according to the present invention includes a plurality of vertically divided wall members, and these wall members have a lower end portion of the upper wall member and an upper end portion of the lower wall member overlapped with each other. It is characterized by being closely spaced and being fastened by fastening fittings such that they can be vertically displaced relative to each other.

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, 11 is a side wall, and this side wall 11 includes a lower wall member 12 and an upper wall member 13, which are horizontally divided at approximately 2/3 of the total height. At the upper end of the lower wall member 12, the side surface opposite to the raw material supply side is cut out to a desired length in the direction of the upper end, about half the wall thickness, and this cut vertical surface 14 is approximately parallel to the side surface and A connecting portion 16 is provided so that the upper end surface 15 is perpendicular to the vertical surface 14 . A plurality of bolt insertion holes 17 are laterally formed in the connecting portion 16 at predetermined intervals.

At the lower end of the upper wall member 13, the side surface on the raw material supply side extends half the wall thickness toward the lower end of the lower wall member J2.
The length of the notch is shorter than that of the notch, and the notched longitudinal surface 19 is substantially parallel to the side surface thereof, and the proximal surface 20 is parallel to the longitudinal surface 1.
A connecting portion 21 formed perpendicular to 9 is provided. A bolt insertion hole 22 having a relatively larger diameter than the bolt 23 is bored in a portion of the connection portion 21 that corresponds to the bolt insertion hole 17 of the connection portion 16 .

To assemble the above-mentioned side wall, the connecting portion 21 of the upper wall member 13 is brought into close contact with the connecting portion 16 of the lower wall member 12, and the base end surface 20 and upper end surface 15 thereof are brought into close contact.
After arranging the vertical surface 19 and the vertical surface 14 so that they are in close contact with each other, the bolt insertion holes 17 and 22 of both connecting portions 16 and 21 are aligned, and the I seat 23 is inserted therein and tightened with the nut 24. . FIG. 6 shows the state after this assembly, and as can be seen from this state, the raw material side sides of the lower wall member 12 and the upper wall member 13 are flush with each other, and the bottom of the connecting portion 21 of the upper wall member 13 is There is a +L gap 25 between the end face and the notch base end face at the connecting portion 16 of the lower wall member 12.
is formed.

Next, the operation of the above embodiment will be explained. This sidewall 11 also expands and contracts due to repeated temperature raising and lowering cycles, and the upper wall member 13 is thermally deformed more than the lower wall member 12, but this deformation is not transmitted to the lower wall member 12. That is, the amount of strain due to thermal deformation of the upper wall member 13 is absorbed by the large-diameter bolt insertion hole 22 and the gap 25, and has no effect on the thermal deformation of the lower wall member 12, so that both wall members 12. 13 will each transform independently. Therefore, the occurrence of extreme curved deformation as shown in FIG. 3 in the prior art is prevented, and both sides of the lower wall member 12 and the upper wall member 13 are only slightly curved upward.

Moreover, when the strain occurs, both wall members 12 and 13
This, together with the fact that the vertical surfaces 14, 19 of the bolts 14, 19 maintain a close seal, hardly causes any air leakage during firing of the raw material, and also prevents the bolts 23 from shearing.

FIG. 17 shows another embodiment of the invention, in which the sidewall 31 is connected to the connecting portion 3 of the lower wall member 32.
6, a plurality of recesses 37 are formed at predetermined intervals in the transverse direction, and a plurality of convex parts 42, which fit into the recesses 37, are formed in the longitudinal inner surface of the connecting portion 41 of the upper wall member 33 at predetermined intervals. It is formed in a protruding manner. The configuration and operation of other parts are the same as those in the previous embodiment, so their explanation will be omitted to avoid duplication of explanation. The shape of the uneven portions 37, 42 is merely an example, and in addition to the rectangular shape shown in the figure, it may also have an appropriate shape such as an arc, a triangle, or a waveform.

In each of the above embodiments, the sidewall 11.31 is shown as being divided into two parts, but it may be divided into three parts, each of the upper part, middle part, and lower part, or if it is allowed to be divided into more parts. Needless to say. Further, although omitted in the drawings, a reinforcing lip may be provided on the side surface of the sidewall 11.31 opposite to the raw material supply side, and the design of other details can be variously changed and modified.

This invention is as described above, and since the side wall is divided into a plurality of lower wall members and upper wall members, it is possible to almost eliminate air leakage caused by distortion caused by thermal deformation, and therefore, the raw material can be uniformly distributed. It is possible to perform firing, reduce power consumption, and improve production efficiency. In addition, it is possible to discard only the upper wall member, which is exposed to the most severe thermal conditions, and replace it with a new one.In addition to reducing maintenance costs, only the upper wall member can be heat-resistant. It has excellent effects such as being able to further suppress thermal deformation by being made of steel or the like.
