水路の一側から他側にわたって設けてなる除塵装置にお
いて、上記塵芥係止スクリーンは、水路の上流側の底面
から下流側に向かって緩勾配で上昇する緩傾斜部と、゛
この緩傾斜部に連続的に設けられた塵芥溜部と、この塵
芥溜部に連続的に設けられた急勾配で水面上に上昇する
急祷斜部とからなり、上記急傾斜部の上端に連続的に塵
芥排出部を設け、上記水路の両側部においてこの塵芥排
出部の上方および上記塵芥溜部の上方にそれぞれ上下の
スプロケットを回動自在に軸支し、この両側における上
下のスプロケット間に一方のスプロケットによって回行
駆動されるエンドレスチェンを巻掛け、この両側のエン
ドレスチェン間に塵芥掻上体を一体的に設け、この塵芥
掻上体は、上端部を上記エンドレスチェンの一部分に連
結されるとともに、このエンドレスチェンの一部分の近
傍の他の部分との間に設けた支棒によってエンドレスチ
ェンの下側で一定の姿勢を保持され、かつ下部に上記塵
芥溜部および急傾斜部に係止された塵芥を掻上げる複数
の塵芥掻上爪を一体的に設けてなることを特徴とする水
