Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect a position accurately and stably, by arranging a light emitting part and a light receiving part, which faces the light emitting part, at positions for detecting liquid and the like in a tank. CONSTITUTION:When a liquid 4 in a liquid level detecting part 9 comes to a position, where light from a light emitting part 7 is shielded, the output of a light receiving part 8 disappears. Therefore, the level position of the liquid 4 in the tank can be detected by detecting the output of the phototransistor of the light receiving part 8. Namely, the H-level position of the liquid 4 in the tank 5 is detected by a pair of the light emitting part 7 and the light receiving part 8, which are provided at the upper part of the detecting part 9, and a liquid-level detecting relay 2a. The L-level position of the liquid 4 in the tank 5 is detected by a pair of the light emitting part 7 and the light receiving part 8, which are provided at the lower part of the detecting part 9, and a liquid level detecting relay 2b.

Next, the operation of the conventional in-tank position detector shown in FIG. 1 will be explained. Now, as shown in FIG. 1, the liquid 4 stored in the tank 5 is connected to the electrode 1a for H level.
and the L level electrode 1b, a current flows between the L level electrode 1b and the COM electrode IC, and the liquid level detection relay 2a operates. On the other hand, since the liquid 4 is not filled between the H level electrode 1a and the COM electrode IC, no current flows between the H level electrode 1a and the COM electrode IC, and the liquid level detection relay 2b is activated. do not. Therefore, it is possible to detect that the liquid level of the liquid 4 in the tank 5 is between the L level electrode 1b and the H level electrode 18. In this way, when the electrode l is used to detect the level position of the liquid 4 stored in the tank 5,
The level position of the liquid 4 is detected depending on whether there is continuity between each of the H level electrode 1a, L level electrode 1b, and 00M electrode 1c that constitute this electric current 1tl. .

FIG. 2 is a schematic configuration diagram showing an object position detector in a tank which is an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is for explaining the operation mode of the object position detector in a tank shown in FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing in detail the main parts of the in-tank position detector shown in FIG. 2. In each of the above figures, the same parts as in FIG. Ashi,
A detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. In each of the above figures, 7 is a light emitting part such as a light emitting diode, 8 is a light receiving part such as a phototransistor, and 9 is a liquid level detecting part which is a position detecting part for detecting the level position of the liquid 4 stored in the tank 5.ib , are provided with a light emitting part 7 and a light receiving part 8 disposed facing each other so as to receive light from the light emitting part. 11 is a light irradiation part, and 12 is a light reception part. The light irradiation part 11 and the light reception part 12 are made by making a part of the liquid level detection part 9 transparent in order to improve their original transparency. It is formed. The light emitting section 7 is attached to the light emitting section 11, and the light receiving section 8 is attached to the light receiving section 12. Reference numeral 10 denotes a connecting fitting 6.0 for connecting the light emitting section 7 and the light receiving section 8. By means of this connecting fitting 10, each of the light emitting section 7 and the light receiving section 8 is fixed to the liquid level detecting section 9. Liquid level detection part 9

Next, the operation of the in-tank storage object position detector, which is an embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 2, will be explained with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. First, as shown in FIG. 3, when the level position of the liquid 4 in the liquid level detection part 9 is at the position shown by the dotted line, the light emitted from the light emitting part 7 illuminates the light receiving part 8, but the liquid When the 40 level position reaches the position shown by the solid line, the light is cut off and no longer illuminates the light receiving section 8. The light-receiving section 8 uses a phototransistor and has a property that current stops flowing when the original amount decreases. Therefore, by detecting the output of the phototransistor which is the light receiving section 8, the level position of the liquid 4 in the tank 5 can be detected.
