Abstract

PURPOSE:To not correct a program for correction and change of a menu by having the display menu on a file. CONSTITUTION:A menu file 3 where the display menu is filed consists of menu record numbers, the following menu record numbers, status codes indicating effectiveness or not, physical row and column positions on a display device, display lengths, and contents. When menu display is requested with a menu record number by a menu display request part 1, a menu record reading part 2 reads in a corresponding menu record from the file 3. The status code of the read record is checked; and if the menu record is effective, it is edited by an editing display part 4 and is displayed on a display device 5. If the following menu record number exists, the following menu record is edited and displayed similarly.
