The structure of an electrostatic recording device usually consists of an optical system for applying imagewise exposure to the surface of an image carrier, an image forming section consisting of an image carrier, a developing device arranged around the image carrier, an IJ-printing device, etc. It can be roughly divided into paper feed conveyance sections that convey one recording sheet. Each of these parts is made up of many parts and is assembled in a complex manner, so inspections such as feeding paper, removing paper jams (so-called jamming) that occur in the conveyance path, replenishing toner, and cleaning each part are necessary. - Difficult to maintain.

As a countermeasure to this problem, a structure has been put into practical use in which the main body of an electrostatic recording apparatus is divided into two parts along the conveyance path of the V-recording paper, and one end is rotatably connected. In an apparatus having such a structure, by rotating the upper body upward, most of the recording paper conveyance path is opened, so that jammed paper can be easily removed, defects can be repaired, etc. However, the reality is that even in these electrostatic recording devices, it is difficult to inspect and maintain the image forming section where the image bearing member, charging electrode, developing device, cleaning device, etc. are crowded together.

Further, the lower body of the electrostatic recording apparatus according to the present invention is further divided into a lower body that includes at least a paper feed conveyance section and an intermediate body that has at least an electrostatic image bearing member and a developing section, both of which are connected by a shaft. Preferably, it has a rotatably coupled structure. By doing this, it becomes possible to deal with paper jams by rotating the intermediate body upward to open the paper feeding and conveying path. Inspection and inspection of most parts of the electronic recording device
Maintenance becomes extremely easy.

The toner images are pulled out one by one through a path indicated by dotted lines in the figure, and reach a transfer section where they come into contact with the photosensitive drum 5, where the toner image on the photosensitive drum is transferred by discharge from the transfer electrode 9. The recording paper P on which the image has been transferred is separated from the photosensitive drum by the static elimination effect of the separation electrode 10, and after being fixed by the fixing roller 11, it advances along the guide plate 12 and is deposited on the ejector 13 as a completed recording. It is discharged.
