フレームの上部において水平方向に配設されて、両端を
突合せ溶接される帯鋸板を支承する帯鋸支持板と、帯鋸
板の両端部を溶接して無端状の帯鋸にする溶接用トーチ
と、このトーチを前記帯鋸支持板の前後方向に移動させ
るトーチ移動装置と、前記トーチの下方で帯鋸板の両端
部を支持する下当金とを備えた自動帯鋸突合せ溶接機で
あって、前記下当金は平らな上面を有し、かつこの上面
には前記帯鋸板の直線状に突き合せられた両端部に対し
、その下方からアルゴンガスを噴射する゛　　噴射孔を
設け、さらにこの噴射孔に対してアルゴンガスを供給す
るアルゴンガス供給装置を設けたことを特徴とするアル
