Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the use of both a ROM cartridge and an IC memory card by providing an IC memory card slit and a terminal having a contact with a card terminal to a connector and having a 1:1 connection between a connector terminal and an external terminal. CONSTITUTION:A connector 5 of a cartridge contains a slit 53 for an IC memory card C and a terminal 54 having a 1:1 corresponding contact with the terminal of the card C. The terminal 54 is connected to an attachment pin 51 in correspondence. Therefore the terminal of the card C is connected to the pin 51 in 1:1 correspondence. In such a constitution, an external terminal of the cartridge is connected to a personal computer and the card C is inserted. Thus the terminal of the card C is set in 1:1 correspondence to the terminal of the cartridge via the connector 5. As a result, the card C is available also to an MSX personal computer with which only a ROM cartridge can be so far used.
