Although there are development methods, the present invention is particularly applicable to supplying toner for dry development. In the dry development method, there is also a one-component developer called a two-component developer, which is a mixture of a carrier made of magnetic powder, etc., a mixture with a toner, and a toner that already contains magnetic powder. In the case of a one-component developer, the developer itself is used to supply toner, and in the case of a two-component developer, the toner is supplied. The description of the invention will specifically refer to the case of toggle feeding. In electronic copying machines and the like that use two-component developers, an electrostatic latent image is formed on the photosensitive layer by a known process in conjunction with an optical system and an electrical system, and the image is developed in a developing section. . In the case of development, toner, which is powder made of resin, is mixed with magnetic powder called a carrier at a concentration of several percent by weight to form a developer. The toner is electrostatically attracted to the magnetic powder, and An aggregate of magnetic powder as a core is subjected to development. When an electrostatic latent image of a different polarity than the toner formed on the photosensitive layer rubs against the developer, the toner is attracted to the electrostatic latent image by electrostatic force, and the toner is separated from the magnetic powder. , only the magnetic powder remains in the developing device, and the toner is transported out of the developing device as a toner image to the next step, a transfer section. Therefore,
Since the toner in the developing device is consumed, the concentration of the developer decreases, making it impossible to obtain a good quality toner image. Therefore, an automatic developer detection device is installed in the developing device to detect the decrease in density due to toner consumption, and automatically transfer the toner stored in the hopper into the developing device via the control circuit and drive system. It replenishes the amount of developer in the developing device and keeps the amount of developer in the developing device constant. Depending on the above-mentioned toner supply,
When the toner in the hopper is empty and the toner in the hopper is refilled from the toner bottle, the toner becomes atomized and scatters, staining the hands and surrounding area of the operator. Although various inventions and ideas have been made and put into practical use in order to prevent stains, their effects are insufficient. The present invention has been made in view of this, and although it is possible to use a toner bottle as a hopper, this description will specifically describe the case where toner is supplied from a bottle to a hopper. FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway side view of an embodiment including the essential parts of the present invention.

It is a diagram. The photosensitive drum 1 on which the photosensitive layer 3 is formed on the surface of the conductive drum 20 is rotated in the direction of the arrow. Around the photosensitive drum 1, there is a known device that controls the operations of charging, exposure, development, transfer, and toner removal. The developing unit w4 has a magnetic roller 7 internally fixed in the case 5, which is made of a non-magnetic material, rotates in the direction of the arrow, and is detached from the sleeve 6 and is magnetically applied to a predetermined position. The developer 8 is collected and adsorbed onto the sleeve 6 by the magnetic force of the magnetic roller 7, and the developer is regulated by the protrusion 5 and the rock 9 as the IJ-Pro rotates, and the hair is styled using the magnetic brush 10. Form. As shown in the figure, the magnetic brush 10 rubs against the photosensitive layer 3, and the toner is attracted onto the static cage 1, and the toner is developed. After the magnetic brush 10 has rubbed against the photosensitive layer 3, the developer 8 is scraped off from the sleeve 6 by a scraping member 11 and conveyed onto the stirring section 13. The scraped off developer 8 is removed by the scraping member 11.
An electrical signal is generated when the developer is placed on top. The stirring part 13 is formed as a liquid roller, and a plurality of discs 15 are connected and fixed to a shaft 14, and a part K near the outer periphery of the disc 15 communicates with a group of lots 16 and imparts rotation in the direction of the arrow 1. 'The part where the density decreases during development or the newly replenished toner is sufficiently stirred. The toner hopper 17 has a valley at the bottom 18, and the toner supply port 19 is closed with a sponge roller 20, and by timely applying rotation in the direction of the arrow to the roller, a predetermined amount of toner 21 is replenished onto the stirring section 13. It is. That is, in response to the above-mentioned electric signal, the sponge roller 20 is given a predetermined tube rotation using an electric circuit and a motor (not shown), the toner 21 is replenished, and the density detection device 1
A predetermined amount of toner is supplied in consideration of the time delay from toner replenishment to detection until the signal generated from No. 2 disappears. Since the toner is replenished as described above after husking, the toner 21 in the hopper 17 is consumed, and the hopper 17 is busy replenishing the toner. Conventionally, there are many examples of automatic methods for replenishing toner in hoppers.

However, it has been difficult to ideally prevent toner scattering and contamination in the vicinity. The present invention has been made in view of this, and will be described in detail below. The toner supply device 22 in FIG. 1 has a toner supply chamber 23 disposed on a hopper 17, and forms a mounting portion 25 to which a toner bottle 24 can be attached and removed. The mounting part 25 is a supporting cylinder 26
A rib 27 is attached, and a screw 28 is provided on the inner surface of the cylinder 26 on the side of the rib 27. The acceptance cylinder 26 is connected to the toner supply chamber 2.
The side plate 29 of No. 3 is arranged in a penetrating manner, and a ring-shaped packing 3° with good slipperiness is provided between the side plate 27 and the side plate 29 to maintain airtightness even when the supporting cylinder 26 is rotated. Prevent toner from leaking outside. The supporting cylinder 26 is rotatable by fixing the supporting member 32 of the bearing 31 to the side plate 29 via the bearing 31. “Support Yen”
A wheel gear 33 is further fixed to the cylinder 26, and by meshing with a worm gear 34, the supporting cylinder 26 is rotated in a predetermined direction by a drive device (not shown). By coupling the bottle 2 with the supporting cylinder 26, the toner in the bottle 24 is supplied to the hopper 17 by rotating the bottle 24. Even if the bottle 24 is placed with its mouth 35 tilted upward as shown in the figure, the inner surface of the bottle is provided with a conveying function so that the toner inside the bolt can be delivered. Figure 2, Bottle 2
4 is a sectional view of FIG. The bottle 24 is molded from plastic or the like. A thread 36 is attached to the outer circumferential side of the bottle 240 near the opening 350, and is used for attaching the cap and also for engagement with the female screw 28 of the supporting cylinder 26.
Used as a supported part when attached to a machine.

Bottle 24 is suitably sized to contain the required amount of toner. The size of the bottle is such that it can accommodate about 300 grams and is easy to handle. The inside of the bottle 24 has the required pitches 39 and 40 and the required heights 41 and 4.
2, a spiral fin 43 is provided. Therefore, by laying down the bottle 24 and rotating it clockwise from the direction of the arrow 44, the toner is delivered from the opening 35 depending on the spiral direction of the fin, since the spiral direction of the fin is to the right. Therefore, by considering the height and pitch of the fins 43 and making the height high and the pitch narrow, toner can be delivered even if the bottle is placed with the mouth high and slanted. As shown in Figure 2, by setting the toner filling amount to the 47th position on the double broken line, the toner will not flow out even if the bottle is placed in a horizontal position, and even if the bottle is tilted as shown in the figure, the toner will not flow out. If no motion is applied, there will be no flow of toner, so in the case of the bottle 24 device, the first
As shown in the figure, since the screw 36 is turned in the right direction to the female screw 28, depending on the direction of rotation, the toner does not flow out in the direction, but after the bottle 24 is installed, it turns clockwise as described above. By applying this, toner is delivered. The operator simply removes the cap 45 and turns the bottle 24 to put it on or take it off, and does not come into direct contact with the toner, so there is no chance of getting his hands dirty or contaminating the device.
