トローク上部より下部の方が広く形成され、かつ冷却液
を気筒列方向に強制循環するようにした往復動式多気筒
燃機関用シリンダブロックの冷却装置において、ビスト
ンストローク方向上部を除きウォータジャケット外壁及
びシリンダボアの少なくとも一方からウォータジャケッ
ト内に突出するリブをビストンストローク方向に長く形
成したことを特徴とするシリンダブロックの冷却装置。In a cooling system for a cylinder block for a reciprocating multi-cylinder combustion engine, the water jacket width around the cylinder bore is wider at the bottom of the piston stroke than at the top of the piston stroke, and coolant is forced to circulate in the cylinder row direction.
