Abstract

うな構造であることが望まれている。 そのような目的のため、複写機の本体を上下の2つのブ
ロックに分ち、上部本体を必要に応じて下部本体から蝶
番式に開放出来るようにすると共に、本体全面を覆う前
扉を開いて上下各本体の機構部を容易に取扱えるよう構
成した2分割式複写機が提供されているが、転写紙のジ
ャム処理の曲にも消耗部材の交換・補給や散在して付着
したトナーの清掃にも好都合で頗る有用な複写機とされ
ている。 しかしながら、このような2分割式複写機における複写
の作動は、必ず、複写機能を保つために上下の各本体が
ロック部材によって一体に係止された状態に置かれ、さ
らに前述した前扉も閉じられて本体前面の各装置が安全
のため遮蔽・保護された状態で開始されなければならな
い。 従って、上下の各本体を係止するロック部材は、複写機
の作動中、容易に手に触れる場所にあることは好ましく
ないので一般に前記前扉の内部FC設置されることが多
い。また前述の如く前扉の閉止稜に、複写機を作動状頼
とするべく、前扉冗取付けたアクチェータで上部本体の
前面に設けたスイッチを作用させそれによって複写機の
電源を接続するよう回路を構成した複写機の例も多い。 しかしながら、前述の如き2分割式複写機においては、
必ず上部本体の閉鎖係止後に前扉の閉止が行われねばな
らずそれによって機能と安全性が確保されることにt

って保護したのちその端面が該上部本体1aと接合しマ
グネット(図示せず)等によって吸着され閉止状態に保
持される;ようにもなっている。第3図及び第4図はこ
の状態を示している。 さらに本発明においては、上部本体1aのbb放時に、
U上部本体1aが備えた内カバー9が、第1図に示す如
く、前扉11の回動軌跡範囲内の位置を占めるようまた

複写機の電源が接続されない。 しかもこの状態から引続いて上部本体1aを閉鎖しても

取付けたロック部材5との貸突が避けられ、またスイッ
チによる前B11のアクチェータ破損も免れることが出
来る。 すなわち、誤って上部本体1aと前扉11の閉鎖を前後
させても部材に破損等の障害を受けることがなく、最終
的に前扉11を閉止することによって複写機本体1の機
能は正常に作動されること〜なる。 尚、柁3及び第4図は2分割された上部本体1aを下部
本体1bK閉鎧してロック部材5を係止部材6に係合さ
せた後、前Jiillを閉止した居合の状態を示したも
