[Background Art] Conventionally, attempts have been made to increase the number of shots by increasing the diameter of the filament of the glass cloth used to obtain high-multilayer, high-density laminates with small dimensional changes. The thicker the filament, the lower the surface smoothness of the laminate, and the deterioration of the surface condition due to filament bending was unavoidable.

The present invention uses glass cloth made from strands with large-diameter glass filaments in the center and narrow-diameter glass filaments in the periphery as a base material for a laminate, and the base material is impregnated with synthetic resin and dried. The present invention will be described in detail below with respect to an electrical laminate, which is characterized by being formed by laminating and heating forming a laminate in which a required number of base materials are stacked and metal foil is placed on the upper or lower surfaces.

The glass cloth used in the present invention has a large diameter glass filament in the center and a small diameter glass filament around the periphery, totaling 50 to 800 filaments. If necessary, a binding agent such as starch or oil is used. Woven fabrics are made from yarns such as single yarns, plied yarns, doubled yarns, cords, etc., which are made by twisting, twisting, combining, or processing the bundled strands.

Example: 50 glass filaments with a diameter of 9 microns in the center and 200 glass filaments with a diameter of 5 microns in the periphery.
A glass cloth having a thickness of 0.21111 mm was obtained by plain weaving a single yarn made from strands in which books were arranged and bundled. Next, the glass cloth was impregnated with an epoxy resin containing a hardening agent and dried to obtain a resin-impregnated base material with a coating weight of 45 cm on the whole.
