Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、高速定回転に適するロータリ・エンジンによ
り直接ギア増速の遠心送風機を駆動圧縮した外気を、ロ
ータリ・エンジンによる排気ガスを利用して駆動される
高速の排気ガス・タービン直結の遠心送風機に導入して
２段圧縮することが特長で、特に、チップ・ジェット・
ヘリコプタ−の動力として使用するコールド・（＋　） ジェットに適当である。ターボ・ジェット・エンジンに
出力タービンを設け、更に多段のギア減速機を介して、
主ロータを回転させる型式の現代のヘリコプタ−に比し
、小型ヘリの場合はかえって構造を簡単化され、軽量で
安価に製作できるものである。
図によって説明すれば、第１図は原理説明であって、ロ
ータリ・エンジン（１）の主軸（２）に設けた大ギア（
３）に咬合い結合され小ギア（４）に結合された遠心送
風機（５）を増速駆動し、外気（矢印）Ａを圧縮し、加
圧された空気（矢印）Ｂを、ロータリ・エンジン（１１
排気を（破線矢印）Ｃの如く、排気ガス・タービン（６
）に導き、同軸（７）で高速回転する第２段の遠心送風
機（８）により再加圧して大量中圧の圧縮空気（太矢印
）Ｄを得るものである。
実施例を第２図によって示せば、ロータリ・エンジン（
１）に直結した大ギア（３）と小ギア（４）を組込んだ
ギア・ボックス（９）に組付けたケーシングαＱ内の遠
心式インペラー〇〇を増速駆動し、外気Ａを吸入圧縮し
た上で、ロータリ・エンジンｆｉｌの排気ガスＣを導管
０擾を介して駆動される排気ガス・タービン（６）と同
軸の第２段の遠心送風機（８）の吸入孔０階へ導管（１
◇に送入し、再加圧させた圧縮空気りを柔軟導管０５１
により必要な箇所へ供給するものである。
主機のロータリ・エンジン（１）には、別に備えた燃料
タンクＱｆ９よりキャブレターαηに燃料を供給し運転
され、排気タービン（６）によりエネルギーを交換した
ガスは排気管ｔｉ８により外気中に放出される。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 高速定回転運動に適するロータリ・エンジンの主軸に設
    けた歯車により、増速駆動される遠心送風機より外気を
    吸入圧縮した加圧空気を、ロータリ・エンジンの排気ガ
    スにより駆動されるタービンと同軸で回転する第２段の
    遠心送風機吸入孔に風路で結び再加圧して、大風量中圧
    の圧縮空気を得るように構成された、ロータリ・エンジ
    ン駆動空気圧縮機。
