Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily set up the whole of the panel uniformly and in a proper drying condition while reducing differences in the drying conditions due to the kind of phosphor by providing a shield partly shielding heat coming from the heating device to the panel surface. CONSTITUTION:A heat shielding plate 6 is provided, while selecting its size, shaped and the distributed quantities or positions corresponding to a panel 1, for spacially shielding the radiant heat of a heater 3 to the inside of the panel 1. Further, said heat shielding plate 6 is rotated in the arrow direction A-A' for changing the time and timing to be arranged to face the inside of the panel 1. Still further, the combination of both of these arrangement simplifies the setting- up in an effective condition. It is especially effective when applying a cohesive and sensitive liquid requiring accurate control of a drying condition.

As is well known, the formation of the value of light in a color picture tube is done using 4J, such as a photoresist film for forming a plaque matrix and a phosphor slurry.
It is performed through a process of applying various types of liquids to the inner surface of the flannel and drying them. For this reason, it is a feature of our company that the fluorescent film coating machine for colored eggs is equipped with a drying device for transferring the cane coating. By the way, for the formation of a fluorescent film, the drying conditions are extremely important as they affect the quality and yield of the film, and the drying speed, drying temperature, and The uniformity of drying must be appropriately controlled. Therefore, a fluorescent coating machine must be manufactured with these points in mind. Normally, the heating means used for dry heating is a heating device with several heaters arranged in a plane.
However, because the panel of a color picture tube is relatively large and has a special shape, it is difficult to set uniform and appropriate drying conditions for the entire panel. This is strange. For example, if the center of the panel is set to ideal drying conditions, problems such as insufficient drying at the periphery of the panel tend to occur. Also, once the quality of the panel is improved, Due to the small size and heat capacity, differences in drying speed and panel temperature occur under the same heating conditions, resulting in a deviation from appropriate drying conditions.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to easily set the entire panel to uniform and appropriate drying conditions, and furthermore, to It is an object of the present invention to provide a two-picture tube fluorescent surface coating machine that makes it possible to reduce the deviation t in drying conditions.

In such a configuration, by selecting the size, shape, arrangement allowance, or arrangement position of the heat shield plate 6 corresponding to the panel 1, the heater 3 can be placed against the inner surface of the spring/l/l. Radiant heat can be spatially shielded. Furthermore, by controlling the time and timing of rotating the heat shielding plate 6 in the direction of the arrow A- and disposing it facing the inner surface of the panel I, the radiant heat of the heater 3 can be temporally shielded. Furthermore, by combining the two, it becomes easy to set more effective conditions.

Specifically, it depends on the purpose, but for example, panel
If it is desired to make the central part of the inner surface relatively less dry, the # shielding plate 6 is arranged so as to shield only the central part from heat. On the other hand, if it is desired to make the drying of the inner surface of the panel 1 relatively weak, for example, a heat shield plate with a hole cut through the center part is arranged so as to shield only the peripheral part from heat. In addition, for example, if a panel with large vertical and horizontal dimensions and a panel with small vertical and horizontal dimensions are to be worn in parallel, placing a heat shield with a small dimension will help to match the drying conditions of the larger panel. Too much temperature on panels with small dimensions without affecting can be completely prevented. In this case, the objective can also be achieved by arranging the heat shield plates facing each other for a longer period of time for smaller panels. Furthermore, it is possible to shield the aS.

With such a configuration, the drying conditions can be set precisely and precisely.
This is effective when applying a photo-adhesive photosensitive liquid that requires tlJ control. Jin's photo-adhesive photosensitive liquid contains as a main component a substance that develops tackiness upon exposure to light, such as zinc chloride double salt of a diazonium compound. This liquid is applied to the inner surface of the panel and dried to form a film, which is then exposed to light through a shadow mask to make the exposed area tacky. After that, phosphor powder is applied, leaving excess phosphor in the unexposed areas. By developing and removing with air, a phosphor pattern can be formed. However, if the drying conditions when applying the photoadhesive liquid and forming the film are inappropriate, a so-called fogging problem will occur in which the phosphor remains attached to areas that are not exposed to light. To prevent this problem, the drying speed should not be too fast or too slow. Also, the panel temperature must not become too high.

In such a case, by applying the present invention, it becomes easy to appropriately set drying conditions, and therefore it becomes easy to prevent the occurrence of turnip. This is particularly effective when starting construction of multiple products at the same time as described above.
