ックアツプ制御室内の圧力差に応動してトルクコンバー
タ入力要素の回転を直接トルクコンバータ出力軸に伝え
るロックアツプクラッチとを具え、トルクコンバータ出
力要素をトルクコンバータ出力軸に摺動自在に嵌合して
両者間に前記ロックアツプ制御室の圧力を導びく圧力室
を画成することによりトルクコンバータ出力要素を前記
圧力差に応じ軸方向移動可能にすると共に、トルクコン
バータ出力要素をその発生トルク及びロックアツプクラ
ッチの伝達トルクの差に応じ相対回転して軸方向移動す
るようカム機構を介しトルクコンバータ出力軸に駆動結
合し、該トルクコンバータ出力要素の軸方向移動により
開度変化して前記コンバータ室及びロツ、クアツプ制御
室間の連通度を加減する可変オリフィスを設けたロック
アツプトルクコンバータにおいて、前記トルクコンバー
タ出力要素及びトルクコンバータ出力軸間の摺動自在な
嵌合部にシール手段を設けてなるロックアツプトルクコ
ンバータのスリップ制御装置。It includes a torque converter input/output element, and a lock-up clutch that directly transmits the rotation of the torque converter input element to the torque converter output shaft in response to the pressure difference between the converter chamber and the lock-up control chamber, and connects the torque converter output element to the torque converter output shaft.
