Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of dirt, scratches or the like on the surface and enable the titled medium to be used for a long period of time, by a method wherein a protective layer is provided on an optical-type information recording layer, and one or more releasable laminate layers are provided on the protective layer to produce a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Transparent laminate layers 6, 7, 8 are adhered on the protective layer 4 so that they can be released from each other. The material for the laminate layers is, e.g., a film of a polyester, nylon, acetate or polyethylene, having a thickness of, e.g., about 100mum, and the layers are weakly adhered to each other by an adhesive such as CMC. Each of the laminate layers is provided with a cutout part at a corresponding corner part for the ease of releasing. The size of the cutout part is decreased in the order of the uppermost laminate layer 8, the intermediate laminate layer 7 and the lowermost laminate layer 6. The laminate layers are provided with color stripes 9, 9', 9''.

射率を有する記録媒体を適宜の方法で表面加工して部分
的に光反射率を変化させる方式のものがある。この様な
光学式情報記録媒体として、光記録レーザーカ一−ドが
例示できる。
