【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は磁気ヘッドの製造方法に関するもので、チャン
ネル数にかかわりなく、製造の自動化が容易におこなえ
るようにしたものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a magnetic head, and is capable of easily automating the manufacturing process regardless of the number of channels.
従来、磁気ヘッドは2チャンネルの場合でも、4チャン
ネルの場合でもそれぞれに応じたシールドケースを用意
し、そのケース内にチャンネル数に応じたヘッド素子を

上記シールドケースは、内部の磁気ヘッド素子と外部を
電磁気的に遮断し、磁気ヘッドのS/Nを向上するため
のものであり、導電性でかつ高透磁率であることが要求
され、一般的にはFeNi系の磁性材料で作られる。今
日、高いS/Nを得るために、−シールドケースを用い
ることは必須となつている。本発明はシールドケースを
わざわざ用意することなく磁気ヘッドを製造する工程で
の組立基板をシールドケースに兼用するようにしたもの
である。以下に本発明を図面の一実施例により説明する
。第1図において、1は帯状の磁気シートであり、この
磁気シート1は一般の磁気ヘッドに用いられるシールド
ケースと同じ材料、例えばFeNi系の磁性材料を圧延
等の方法でシート化したものである。2はその磁気シー
ト1上に一定間隔で設けた基準孔、3はその基準孔2を
基準にして磁気シート1上に接着剤等により固定した磁
気ヘッド素子であり、この磁気ヘッド素子3はコアー4

性体板5と同等の非磁性板8をおき、その状態で磁気シ
ート1を折曲げ磁気ヘッド素子3を包持するものであり
、上記磁気シート1ケース(磁気シート1)の内部にエ
ポキシ等の樹脂を注入固型化する。さらに、磁気ヘツド
の前面(磁気テープの摺動面)を研摩して磁気ヘツドが
完成する。以上本発明によれば磁気シート1をベース板
としその上に磁気ヘツド素子3を必要チヤンネル数だけ
重ねて設け、その状態で磁気シート1で上記磁気ヘツド
素子3を包持するようにしているために磁気シート1が
