に挿入されてその開口部を液密的かつ摺動可能に貫通す
るピストンロッドと、このピストンロッドの内端部に組
付けられて前詰シリンタ内に摺動可能に嵌挿され同シリ
ンダ内を２つの油室に区画するとともにこれら内油室を
オリフィスを通して連通させる作動ピストンを備えた油
圧式ショックアブソーバにおい゛て、前記ピストンロッ
ドとして中空ロンドを採用して、その内孔内に内端にバ
ルブプレートを備えたロンドを回転可能に挿通ずるとと
もに、前期ピストンロッドの内端には前記バルブプレー
トを収容するケースを組付けてその底部に前記バルブプ
レートの下面を密接させ、一方前記ケースの底部にはそ
の内部と前記内油室の一方を連通させる通油ポートを設
けるとともに、前記バルブプレートには前記ケースの通
油ポートに対向する位置にて同一円周上に延びその幅が
一端から他端に向って漸次変化する長孔を設け、かつ前
記ピストンロッドにはその内孔と前記内油室の他方を連
通させる通油ポートを設けて、前記内油室を前記ピスト
ンロッドの通油ポートおよび内孔と前記バルブプレート
の長孔と前記ケースの通油ポートを通じて連通させたこ
