Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein the air speed distribution of an air heat exchanger is improved. CONSTITUTION:The plate type air heat exchanger is provided at both sides of the air-cooled heat pump type air-conditioner 1 while holding frames 10, 10a, at the inside of the heat exchanger are provided with air guide plates 11 so as to be slanted upwardly toward a fan. In said constitution, air is induced into the air heat exchangers 5, 6 of both sides by operating the fan 7 while the air, passed through the air heat exchangers, is flowed upwardly along the whole surface of the inside of the air heat exchangers 5, 6 so as to be rectified by respective air guide plates 9, 11. Accordingly, a difference between heat exchanging amounts of the upper and lower parts of the heat exchanger is reduced, the circulation of the air in the heat exchanger is eliminated, the amount of ventilation is increased and the heat exchanging efficiency may be increased.
