Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、横方向搬送装置によって軸線に対して直角に
搬遺される棒状のタノ々コ製品を、前記横方向搬送装置
に所属の円形カッタによって切断する装置に関する。゛ 「棒状の）・セフ製品」という概念は特に、製作過程の
経過において１回又は複数回分割されるシガレット、゛
フィルクロッ＋−”及びフィルタ付シガレットを意味す
る。例えば２倍の長さのシガレットはシングルのシガレ
ットに分割され、多数倍の長さの７斗ルタロツｒは２倍
の長すのフィルタ栓体に分割されかつダブルのフィルタ
付シガレットはシングルのフィルタ付シガレットに分割
される。この場合高い切断品質つまり極めてきれいな切
断が必要とされるが、このような高い切断品質を常に保
証することは今日汎用の切断装置では不可能、である。
ゆえに本発明め課題は、必要な高い切断品質すなわち切
り離された夕・々コ製品端部の幾何学的で見た目のよい
申し分のない状態ならびにり・ぐコ製品切断面の非損傷
を保証することのできる切断装置を提供することである
。
この課題を解決するために本発明の構成では、切断区域
の範囲において円形カッタに、両力ツタ側面を制限する
位置固定の案内部材が配属されている。
切断過程のために特に有効な円形カッタの安定化は本発
明の有利な実施態様によれば、円形カッタがタ、？コ製
品に侵入する箇所の直前において円形カッタに案内部材
が配属されていることによって達成される。このように
して、その都度切り離される夕・々コ製品へのカッタの
侵入の直前に、場合によっては侵入以前に特に研削装置
の通過時に生ぜしめられるカッタ側面の振動ないしは側
方への傾斜又はばたつきは再び抑制され、この場合に同
時に、タバコ製品の切断過程の終了まで振動が新たに生
じることは回避される。
さらにまた、案内部材が、ガイドスリットを備えたガイ
ドプレートとして構成されていると有利！ある。
本発明の構成によって得られる利点としては、円形カッ
タ側面の非所望の側方への傾斜が切断区域において生じ
ることが回避され、ひいては規定されたきれいな切断が
保証されることが挙げられる。
次に図面につき本発明の詳細な説明する。
切断装置は切断ドラム１の形の横方向搬送装置を有して
おり、切断ドラム１は、トラフ３において吸込み空気に
よって保持された２倍の長さのシガレット４を矢印２の
方向で切断区域６に供給する。切断ドラム１の中央範囲
には周溝７が設けられていて、この周溝７には、軸線１
１を中心にして矢印９の方向に回転する円形カッタ８が
侵入する。円形カッタ８は該円形カッタが切断区域に進
入する直前において、すなわち円形カッタ８が矢印２の
方向でその都度供給されるシガレット４に侵入する前つ
まり切断過°　程を始める前において、カッタ側面の両
側を制限する位置固定の案内部材１２によって案内され
ている。案内部材１２は、ガイドスリット１３を備えた
ガイドプレート１４として形成されていて、図示されて
いない機械ケーシングのブラケット１６に固定されてい
る。この配置形式では、調整不能な外的な影響及び作用
によって惹起される円形カッタ側面の振動がいかなる場
合においても切断過程の直前においてガイドスリット１
３の通過時に該ガイドスリットのガイドエツジによって
とらえられて減じられる。これによって円形カッタ８の
切刃回転は少なくとも切断区域を通る間は規定の切断平
面において安定化せしめられ、この結果幾何学的に正確
〒かつきれいな申し分のない切断が可能になる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １゜　横方向搬送装置によって軸線に対して直角に搬送
    される棒状の夕・ぐコ製品を、前記横方向搬送装置に所
    属の円形カッタによって切断する装置であって、切断区
    域（６）の範囲において円形カッタ（８）に、両カッタ
    □側面を制限する位置固定の案内部材（１２）が配属さ
    れていることを特徴とする、軸線に対して直角に搬送さ
    れる棒状のタノ々コ製品を切断する装置。 ２、　円形カッタ（８）がメツ々コ製品（４）に侵入す
    る箇所の直前において円形カッタ（８）に案内部材（１
    ２）が配属されている特許請求の範囲第１項記載の装置
    。 ３、案内部材（１２）が、ガイドスリット（１３）を備
    えたガイドプレー）（１４）とじて構成されている特許
    請求の範囲第１項又は第２項記載の装置。
