汲み上げ、現像ローラー上に形成された磁気ブラシを静
電潜像面に接触させてこれを現像する磁気ブラシ現像装
置において、−現像ローラーの下方に配置された汲み上
げローラーの回転を非現像時に停止させる制御手段を有
し、上記現像ローラー内に設けられた、静電潜像面と対
向する主磁極と補極との磁力を、上記補極と汲み上げロ
ーラー内に設けられた現像ローラーに近い磁極との磁力
