Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically turn the direction of a transported article in a simple structure in case of transporting the article along a transport path by disposing a turning pin at a specified position in the middle of the transport path. CONSTITUTION:A turning station is mounted in the middle of an inclined chute 2 for sliding and transporting a transported article 1. At the turning station 3, the bottom plate 4 of the inclined chute 2 is provided with a turning pin 5 positioned out of the central portion thereof along the lateral direction orthogonal to the feed direction, that is, positioned adjacent to one side plate 7 on the bottom plate 4. The other side plate 8 at the turning station 3 is provided with a curved portion 9 laterally curved outward for permitting the transported article 1 to turn.
