Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable an ultra low speed operation down to zero speed to be performed by means of hydraulic drive in a device in which a transmission is connected to a prime mover through a main clutch by installing a hydraulic motor for driving a power system subsequent to the transmission. CONSTITUTION:When an engine 1 is driven, a hydraulic pump 9 is rotated through a group of gears 8. Discharged oil from the hydraulic pump 9 is returned back to an oil tank 16 through a discharging pipe 17, piping 19 and change-over valve 13 when the change-over valve 13 is set in its neutral position. Under direct driving condition, both a transmission 3 and a main clutch 2 are operated to perform high efficient operation. Under hydraulic driving operation, the main clutch 2 is disengaged and after PTO cluch 12 is engaged, the change- over valve 13 is changed over to its operating position, thereby the discharged oil from the hydraulic pump 9 is supplied to a hydraulic motor 10 through pipings 20A or 20B, the hydraulic motor is rotated to cause the group of gears in the transmission 3 to be rotated. Under low speed condition of the group of gears, the change-over valve 13 is controlled and an ultra low speed down to zero is attained.
