たチューブ内を摺動するピストンと、該ピストンと一体
的に変位しかつロッドカバーから摺動可能に突出するピ
ストンロッドとを有し、前記ピストンによって隔てられ
形成されたロンド側油室ヘヘッド側油室との間に絞り流
路を接続してなるショックアブソゾーバにおいて、前記
ピストンに開口部を有し、この開口部からピストンロッ
ドの軸線に沿って内方へ延びる前記開口部より径大の中
空室をピストンロッド内に形成するとともに該中空室を
前記ロッド側油室と連通し、一方前記開口部へ向かって
突出しかつ前記ピストンの進退時に前記中空室内を進退
するクッションロッドを前記へラドカバーに対して固定
的に設け、該クッションロッドには前記開口部と適嵌合
するランド部と、該ランド部より径小にして前記開口部
との間に隙間ができる径小部とをそれぞれ形成してなる
