Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a printer capable of securing high printing quality through reduced noise and reduced vibration, wherein a motor is fitted by placing a plate of a composite ferrite elastic material between the motor and a fitting surface of a frame. CONSTITUTION:The motor 1 is fixed by intermediately placing the plate 3 of a composite ferrite elastic material between the motor 1 and the frame 2. Rotational vibration of the motor 1 is absorbed by the plate 3, so that it is not transmitted to the frame 2. The composite ferrite elastic material has a vibration-absorbing capability of about 100 times of those of the conventional iron and aluminum materials, and can remarkably damp the vibration of the motor.
