    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. エンジン３の排気ポート４にマフラ５を連結し、マフラ
    ５のマフラ本体１の一部に入口管６を、他部に出口管７
    を設け、マフラ本体１にバイパス管２を付設し、バイパ
    ス管２の入口８をマフラ本体１の入口管６に連通させる
    とともに、バイパス管２の出口９をマフラ本体１の出口
    管７の近傍部で開口させ、バイパス管２め通路断面積を
    マフラ本体１、入口管６及び出口管７！７）各通路断面
    積よりも遥かに小さい値に設定した事を特徴とする、エ
    ンジンのマフラ。
