  1. 基板上に被着形成される複数個の発熱要素と、これら基
    板および前記複数個の発熱要素をおおう保護膜で形成さ
    れる感熱転写型サーマルヘッドにおいて、前記複数個の
    発熱要素の近傍に熱転写型インクリボンを予備加熱する
    ための補助発熱要素を設けたことを特徴とする熱転写型
    サーマルヘッド。
