Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive cost reduction by manufacturing and replacing only parts not common at the time of manufacture of a similar molded product, by a method wherein an ejector plate and a spacer of a mold for the similar molded product are made common, which are provided on a movable board and a stationary board of a clamping device of the mold beforehand. CONSTITUTION:An ejector plate 13, a movable side fixing plate 14, a movable side spacer 15, a stationary side fixing plate 16 and a stationary side spacer 17 which are made common to similar molded product are mounted on the clamping device of a mold. In case of similar molded product, therefore, the mold clamping device with a mold is obtained by fixing the mold for only an ejector pin 18, a movable side die plate 19 and a stationary side die plate 20 to be manufactured separately to the packing device of the mold. Manufacturing cost, therefore, can be reduced, a weight and dimensions of the mold are reduced and replacement operation of the mold is facilitated.
