Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 用紙支持装置上に支持された普通紙よりなる印字用紙の
    印字行に沿って移動可能なキャリヤ上に熱印字ヘッドを
    支持し、前記キャリヤ上に前記熱印字ヘッドに近接して
    配置されたリボンカセットの供給スプールに巻回された
    熱転写リボンを印字用紙と熱印字ヘッドの間に供給し、
    熱印字ヘッドを発熱させて熱転写リボン上に塗布された
    インクを印字用紙に転写し、使用済みの熱転写リボンを
    巻取スプールに巻取る熱転写プリンタにおいて、前記印
    字行に沿って設けられたラック部材と、前記キャリヤ上
    に揺動可能に支持されるとともに一端に前記ラック部材
    と保合可能な保合ギヤを枢支した支持部材と、 前記係合ギヤが前記ラツ、り部材と係合するように前記
    支持部材を付勢する付勢部材と、前記係合ギヤの回転を
    前記巻取スプールに伝達する動力伝達機構と、 前記キャリヤの反印字方向への移動中等の非印字時に前
    記付勢部材の付勢力に抗して前記ラツ部材と係合ギヤと
    の係合を解除する解除手段とを設けたことを特徴とする
    熱転写プリンタ。
