回転電機の外枠に回転電機内部を冷却する熱交換器をと
りつけてなる回転電機の冷却装置において、前記外枠に
、複数個の透孔を設け、これらの透孔に、複数個のヒー
トパイプを蒸発部を外枠内に凝縮部を外枠外に位置させ
るとともに前記凝縮部を蒸発部よりも高くして貫通配置
して設け、前記外枠上に別個の両軸もしくは片軸の冷却
用モータを、一方側の回転軸を前記透孔に電機内部に向
゛かつて貫通してとりつけ、このモータの前記一方側の
回転軸に回転電機内の内気循環用の内部ファンを設ける
とともに、このモータの他方側の回転軸もしくは回転電
機の回転軸に前記ヒートパイプの凝縮部冷却用の外部フ
