体をそなえた本体碍子の下部後方に位置して一体形成し
てなる袋状の収納部に対し、電圧非直線性を有する限流
素子と、限流素子の上下両面に接続した上下部両端子と
、両端子の一部を除くこれら両端子と限流素子の外周面
とを絶縁被覆する絶縁物とからなる限流素子ユニットを
挿入して同ユニットの上部端子を中継導体に接続すると
共に、さらに上記収納部の開口端に固着した固定金具に
対し内面にコイルスプリングと接続導片をそなえたキャ
ップ金具を螺着して同コイルスプリングと接続導片を上
記限流素子ユニットの下部端子に押圧接触せしめると同
時に螺着時上記キャップ金具の外面に形成した突状の放
電部を、一端を本体碍子の支持ボルトに取付けてその他
端を本体碍子の後方に延長してなる支持金具の針端状の
放電端に対し放電ギャップを形成して対向させ而も上記
放電部を除くキャップ金具の外周面をゴム等の絶縁カバ
ーで覆うようにしたことを特徴とする限流素子、ユニッ
