Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid honing apparatus excellent in the accuracy of purification which can separately recover a more highly purified liquid than that in a conventional one, by connecting an apparatus for the treatment of an overflowing liquid having an oil skimmer, a sludge conveyer and a means for recovering a supernatant liquid and a liquid cyclone as purifiers in series between tanks for a liquid suspension of abrasive grain and a tank for purified liquid. CONSTITUTION:In this liquid honing apparatus, an apparatus 5 for the treatment of an overflowing liquid equipped with an oil skimmer 11 and a means 14 for recovering a supernatant liquid, and a liquid cyclone 23 are connected in series. Light fats or oils, and suspended matter are removed from a liquid suspension of abrasive grain used for honing by the oil skimmer 11, and the reusable abrasive grain are separated in a chamber for secondary treatment and recovered in a tank 2 for the abrasive grain suspension by a sludge conveyer 13. On the other hand, fine unreusable abrasive grain and ground chips are separated and removed by the liquid cyclone 23. Consequently, a more highly purified liquid as compared with that in a conventional apparatus can be separated and recovered. In addition, the excellent honing apparatus of good efficiency which can automatically purify and recover the liquid without the necessity of substantial maintenance in the separating and recovering step can be offered.

In other words, the abrasive solution after honing is immediately purified and recovered using a classification cyclone, and the abrasive solution after honing is separated into a solution containing large abrasive grains and a solution containing small abrasive grains using a partition wall with small holes. A device is used in which the liquid containing small abrasive particles is sent to a classification cyclone to separate and recover the liquid.

In the former device, the abrasive liquid after honing, which contains coarse abrasive grains and grinding particles, is suddenly classified using a classification cyclone, resulting in insufficient separation and fine particles in the recovered liquid. Contains abrasive grains and requires a filter to remove them, which requires cleaning or replacement to prevent clogging of the filter, which not only causes poor purification and recovery efficiency. The work was complicated. In order to eliminate the complexity of this work, it is also possible to collect the liquid classified by the cyclone in a septic tank and leave it to precipitate and remove fine abrasive grains. In addition, the liquid had to be kept in the tank for a long time, resulting in poor work efficiency.

In the latter device, a liquid containing large abrasive particles and a liquid containing small abrasive particles are separated by a partition wall having small through holes, and then this latter liquid is sent to a classification cyclone to purify and recover the liquid. Therefore, the degree of purification of this recovered liquid is improved compared to the previous device, but lightweight fine abrasive grains and grinding particles need to be precipitated and removed as in the previous device, resulting in poor work efficiency. Separation and removal of fats and oils was insufficient.

Therefore, in view of these drawbacks of conventional devices, the inventor of the present invention conducted various studies on recovering clean liquid from the abrasive liquid after honing, and found that the liquid that has passed through the supernatant recovery device is sent to a liquid cyclone for purification. The present inventors have discovered that purification can be carried out efficiently by the following methods, and have thus come up with the present invention.

As described above, the liquid honing device according to the present invention connects the hot liquid treatment M[5, which is provided with the oil skimmer 11 and the supernatant recovery device 14, and the liquid cyclone 2B, and extracts light from the abrasive liquid after honing. Oil and fat and floating matter are removed by the oil skimmer 11, and the reusable abrasive grains are separated in the second processing chamber and collected into abrasive grains H4912 by the sludge conveyor 18, and are turned into fine abrasive grains that cannot be reused. Since the grinding particles are separated and removed by the liquid cyclone 28, clean liquid can be separated and recovered, and the accuracy of purification is improved compared to conventional devices. Further, it is possible to provide an efficient and sophisticated liquid honing device that can automatically purify and recover liquid with almost no maintenance required in the separation and recovery process.
