【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、複写機において感光体又は転写紙に形成され

の作動により又はヒューズの切断によりヒーターヘの給
電を停止するように構成されている。しかし、上記サー
ミスタおよびヒューズが故障した場合には加熱定着ロー
ラーが異常高温になつてもヒーターヘの給電が継続され
るため危険である。本発明の目的は、加熱定着ローラー
が異常高温になつた場合に確実にヒータヘの給電を停止
することができる加熱定着ローラーを提供することにあ
る。

液3の気化および気化した気体の液化というサイクルを
繰り返えすことにより外筒1はほぼ一定の温度に加熱さ
れる。上記熱媒液3が気化しやすいように内筒2と外筒
1との間の気体の圧力を低くすることが望ましい。本発
明のローラーは、第1図に示すように外筒1と内筒2と
の端部を直接に溶接する構成でなく、第2図に示すよう
に外筒1と内筒2の端部間に結合部材6を介在させ、内
筒1および外筒2と結合部材6とを溶接する構成でもよ
い。上記外筒1と内筒2との溶接部A又は外筒1と内筒
2と結合部材6との溶接部B,Cおよび外筒1の破壊強
度は、内筒2のそれより非常に大きくしてローラーが異
常高温になつた場合に内筒2のみが変形するように構成
されている。

および第5図に示すように内側に変形するようになつて
いる。そして、第3図に示すように内筒2が変形してス
イツチのアクチユエータ一5に接触するとスイツチが作
動してヒーター4への給電を停止するように構成されて
いる。ヒーター4への給電の停止と同時にローラーを回
転させる駆動手段も停止される。また、上記スイツチの
アクチユーエータ一5を内筒2内に配置することなく、
上記ヒーター4を破壊しやすいもので構成し、第5図に
示すように変形する内筒2によりヒーター4を破壊する
ように構成してもよい。実験例 厚さ0.6m7!Lのステンレス板で内筒2および外筒
1を作り、それらの端部をアルゴン溶接し、外筒1の一
部の孔から内筒2と外筒1との間の気体を真空ポンプで
