[Detailed description of the invention] This invention transports small and medium-sized veneer veneers in a direction perpendicular to the fiber direction, and cuts them into products with maximum efficiency by cutting out defective parts, that is, into sized products, and separates the cutting waste. However, the cutting place for the veneer veneer is formed so that only the products are brought out one by one with their end faces abutting each other, and the bonding resin is placed at a position separated by an appropriate transport distance l from the cutting place to the unloading side. A coating place is formed, and at the coating place 1, the end faces of the veneers are brought into contact with each other, and the abutting portions of the plywood veneers that have been cut to size are successively brought into contact with each other.
Bonding resin, which has been dripped in advance on the transfer medium each time the cutting operation is performed, is synchronously moved to a coating location 1 at a dripping location separated by a moving distance l equal to the conveyance distance l, and sequentially coated on the abutting portions. Japanese Patent Application No. 77921/1989 (1987-77921) between nuclear power plants designed to
JP-A No. 5025713) relates to the structure of a veneer-shaped bonded veneer produced by a method and apparatus for bonding veneer veneers, the purpose of which is to drip-like a veneer to the abutting part of the veneer veneer. By suppressing and flowing the bonding resin applied from the surface into the gap of the abutting part so that the cross section is approximately T-shaped, the bonding strength at the dripping point is significantly improved, and the individual veneer units are The overall lack of strength due to dry cracks, chips, etc. on the board was reinforced with several adhesive threads pressed in a cascading manner from the surface, and the bonding resin was applied in line with the adhesive threads at the abutting areas. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new, high-quality interdigital bonded veneer plate which is constructed so as to prevent peeling due to the lifting of the adhesive threads by drip-coating the adhesive threads integrally at the intersection points.

As disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 48-44403, an adhesive dripping portion is formed between the end faces of the veneer veneers that are butted together, and a part of the adhesive is allowed to enter between the end faces of the veneer veneers. let me,
A veneer veneer joining device that can obtain a veneer veneer with a strong bonding effect is well known, but the veneer veneer manufactured by the above device does not have a strong adhesive force at the joint end surface. However, other parts, that is, the middle part of the veneer excluding the end face, do not have strength in the direction perpendicular to the fiber direction, so if there are cracks, chips, etc. in this part, this will cause the veneer to deteriorate. When lifted, the weight of the veneer causes it to move in the direction of the fibers, causing the veneer to tear at this point.

In addition, as in Japanese Patent Publication No. 45-31876, composite wood veneer product boards are manufactured by compressing and adhering several threads of adhesive thread to the surface of sized veneer veneers whose end faces are abutted to obtain a bonded veneer. Although the method and the apparatus for producing the same are well known, the bonded veneer produced by the method and apparatus described above is simply a veneer veneer whose surfaces are bonded together with adhesive threads.
The end surface of each veneer has a completely free surface (non-adhesive @
), the bonded veneers are transported in a direction parallel to the fiber direction (inserted between the rolls of the gluing machine) in order to be glued by the next gluing machine. When the veneer veneer is fed in a direction parallel to the fiber direction to prevent it from cracking), a misalignment occurs between the abutting surfaces of each veneer in the front-rear direction relative to the direction of travel, and as a result, the abutting portion There was a drawback that the adhesive threads located at the veneer were pulled and easily peeled off from the surface of the veneer veneer, causing a peeling phenomenon due to lifting.

In an attempt to remove the above-mentioned flaws caused by twisting, a large amount of adhesive is applied to the adhesive thread to increase the adhesive strength, but when the adhesive applied to the adhesive thread is stacked, the bonded veneers are stacked on top of each other. It has the disadvantage that it adheres to the bottom surface of the bonded veneer, causing the upper and lower bonded veneers to adhere to each other, causing a so-called blocking phenomenon, which hinders subsequent work. It was something I couldn't wear.

That is, the blind-shaped bonded veneer of the present invention can be efficiently produced using a bonding device such as the one shown in FIG. There is an incoming conveyor 5 that conveys the board 1a in a direction perpendicular to the fiber direction, and the front and rear edges of the veneer veneer 1a being conveyed by the incoming conveyor 5, defects such as dry cracks, knots, and uneven thickness are well known. It is detected by the veneer detector 6, and the detection signal sent from the veneer detector 6 is sent to the clipper knife I through the sizing control circuit to cut out the defective part of the veneer that has arrived directly below. The veneer veneer 1 is cut into veneers 1, and the front and rear chips are separated by opening the vibrating conveyor 8, and the veneer veneer 1 is continued to be conveyed until the end of the veneer 1 is cut into veneers 1. It is delivered to the place where the resin is applied.

In connection with the veneer cutting process, which is equipped with a sizing cutting mechanism, a chip separation mechanism, and an end face colliding mechanism, which are well-known means, the veneer is placed on an unloading conveyor 9 at an appropriate conveyance distance l as shown in the figure. The metal transfer roller 10 that serves as a transfer medium for the bonding resin 4 or the adhesive thread 2 itself, which is wound around the transfer roller 10 and simultaneously fed out from the dripping location to the coating location, serves as a substantial transfer medium for the bonding resin. 4. Further, the bonding resin 4 is lined up on the circumference of the transfer roller 10 or on the payout line of the adhesive thread 2 by a moving distance l equal to the conveying distance l, at the point of contact with the carry-out conveyor 9, that is, at the abutting portion 3. A resin dropper 11 is arranged at a distance l from the application location to form a dripping location for the bonding resin.

A bonding resin, for example, a string-shaped hot melt resin 12, which bonds the abutting portions 3 of the veneer veneer 1 in a blind shape, is automatically introduced into the resin dropper 11 by an electric mechanism or the like, and an electric heater or the like is installed inside the resin dropper 11. This melted bonding resin is injected in an appropriate amount by an injection mechanism 13 such as a set of plungers attached to the resin dropper 11 onto the circumference of the transfer roller 10. At the same time, a droplet-like bonding resin 4 is granulated onto the adhesive thread 2 itself, which is fed out.

Therefore, the droplet-shaped bonding resin 4 injected onto the adhesive thread 2 itself, which is fed out on the circumference of the transfer roller 10 or at the same time, travels the distance l from the dripping location to the coating location at the transport speed of the delivery conveyor 9. While moving in synchronization with the speed of the transfer roller 10, the abutting portion 3 of the veneer veneer 1 on the unloading conveyor 9 is transported along the transport distance l from the cutting location to the coating location 1 in synchronization with the speed of the transfer roller 10. Therefore, if the movement distance l and the conveyance distance l are set to the same momentum, the abutment part 3 of the veneer veneer 1 is brushed, and the drip-shaped bonding resin 4 is selectively applied only to that part.

Further, the bonding resin 4 drip-applied to the surface of the abutting portion 3 of the veneer veneer 1 is transferred to the veneer by a transfer roller 10 and a suppression roller 14 installed between the rows of the transfer conveyor 9 within the row of the transfer roller 10. Pressed together with the veneer 1, the bonding resin 4 in a plastic state is forced into the gap between the abutting portions 3, and the bonded resin 4 is crushed into a flat shape with a substantially T-shaped cross section and then transported. do.

In this case, if the resin 4 is a hot melt resin with high viscosity, in the past, it was difficult for the resin to penetrate sufficiently into the wood of the end surface, and the temperature of the resin was still high enough to bond the abutment part 3 strongly. In some cases, it may be in a state where it cannot exhibit adhesive strength, so in such cases, it is further reheated according to the usual method to sufficiently lower the viscosity of the bonding resin 4 in the applied state and to infuse the resin into the wood. Since it is best to use a method of increasing adhesive strength by immediately solidifying 4 after infiltration, the well-known means of reheating and cooling the bonding resin 4 in such a coated state is as shown in the figure. A bonding resin 40 coated inside the sliding plate 15, which is an integrated or divided sliding plate 15 with a heating part in the first half and a cooling part in the second half.
The veneer veneer 1b, which is joined in the form of a blind by the suppression conveyor 16 and the carry-out conveyor 9, which are arranged so that the parts are slidable and suspended from other parts that are not joined, is moved to the sliding plate 15.

Furthermore, in order to reinforce the overall lack of strength due to dry cracks, chips, etc. in the individual veneer veneers 1, 40 drops of bonding resin were applied to the abutting portions 3 of the veneer veneers 1 mentioned above. As shown in the figure, about 2 strips of hot melt resin or the like are usually applied on the left and right near the end of the wood where dry cracks, chips, etc. have occurred, on the drip row of the abutting portion 30 where the bonding resin 4 is drip-coated. The impregnated adhesive thread 2 is fed out from the bobbin 17 so as to intersect with the drip line of the bonding resin 4, and the resin component is melted by the heating action of a well-known tubular type Calorie heater or the transfer roller 10, or the resin component is melted by the well-known direct melting method. A blind in a posture in which a hot-melt resin or the like is melted and impregnated into the filament by an impregnation method and simultaneously pressed and adhered to the surface of a veneer veneer 10, so that the adhesive yarn 2 in the abutment part 3 is held down like an anchor by the bonding resin 4. A type of bonded veneer is produced.

In addition, in the case of the blind-shaped bonded veneer having the above-mentioned configuration, a place for applying the bonding resin 4 is formed at a position separated by an appropriate conveyance distance l from the cutting place of the untreated veneer veneer 1a to the unloading side. The next day, while abutting each other's end faces at the coating place, the abutting portions 3 of the veneer veneers 1 cut to size, which arrive one after another, are moved by a distance equal to the conveying distance l. The bonding resin 4, which has been dripped onto the transfer roller 10 or the transfer medium such as the adhesive thread 2 itself each time the cutting operation is performed, is synchronously moved at the coating location 1 at a dripping location separated by a distance l, and the bonding resin 4 is applied to the abutting portion. 3 sequentially from the surface so that it flows in with pressure, and cooperates with the drip application of the bonding resin 4 to press and adhere several threads of adhesive thread 2 to the surface of the veneer veneer 10 in the same drip row. In this way, a blind-shaped bonded veneer in which the adhesive thread 2 of the abutting portion 3 is held down like an anchor by the bonding resin 4 is efficiently produced.
Such a production method is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments,
Of course, it can be similarly produced by manual construction methods, dividing processes, etc.

As shown in the above, the present invention is to attach several threads of adhesive thread 2 to the surface of each veneer veneer 1, and to attach a drip-like thread to the intersection point of the adhesive thread 2 and the abutment part 3 of the veneer veneer 1. The bonding resin 4 is pressed into a substantially T-shaped cross section, that is, in an anchored state, and the abutment part 3 button of the veneer veneer 1 that is attached to the above-mentioned intersection point and the adhesive thread 2 on the abutment part 3 are bonded together. By doing so, the bonding strength of the abutting portions 3 of each veneer veneer 1 is made significantly stronger, and the overall strength is insufficient due to dry cracks, chips, etc. of individual veneer veneers 1, or the veneer after bonding is This can prevent the progression (increase) of cracks and cracks due to the weight of the veneer itself, which occur when lifting and transporting both ends of the veneer.
In particular, according to the present invention, the adhesive thread 2 is bonded to the surface of the veneer veneer 1 by the action of its own adhesive resin, and the cross-sectional path T Since the adhesive threads 2 are bonded together in a letter-shaped anchor state, the bonding state of the adhesive thread 2 attached to the abutting portion 3 is simply that the adhesive thread 2 is bonded only by the adhesive resin that the adhesive thread 2 itself has. The adhesive strength is very strong, and the veneer veneer at the joint is moved in a direction parallel to the fiber direction in the subsequent work steps. Therefore, even if the abutting portions 3 of each veneer veneer are slightly misaligned, the adhesive thread 2 applied to the abutting portions 3 will not easily lift up and cause a peeling phenomenon. However, since the bonding resin 4 is applied in an anchoring manner only to the intersection of the adhesive thread 2 and the abutting portion 3, there is no risk of causing a blocking phenomenon as in the conventional case, and as a result, the durability is improved. It is possible to provide a product with excellent impact strength, bending resistance, breaking strength, and peeling resistance.
