Claims (1)
とに分割し、これら第１分岐管と第２分岐管とはハニカ
ムタイプの両端を千鳥状に互い違いに閉鎖したパティキ
ュレイト捕集フィルタを内蔵する連絡管を用いて連絡す
ると共に、この連絡管の前記第１および第２分岐管との
接続部には一方の分岐管を流れてきた排気ガスをこの連
絡管を゛ 通して他方の分岐管下流側に流すように制御
する管路切換弁を設け、さらに、前記パティキュレイト
捕集フィルタの両端部近傍の連絡管内には排気圧センサ
およびバーナを設けて、排気入口側の排気圧センサの測
定圧が設定値を越えた時に前記バーナに点火し、その後
に前記管路切換弁により前記連絡管を流れる排気ガスの
方向を逆にするように構成したことを特徴とする内燃機
関の排気浄化装置。The exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine is divided into a first branch pipe and a second branch pipe in the middle, and the first branch pipe and the second branch pipe are honeycomb type particulates with both ends closed alternately in a staggered manner. A connecting pipe with a built-in collection filter is used for communication, and the exhaust gas flowing through one of the branch pipes is passed through the connecting part of the connecting pipe to the first and second branch pipes. A pipe switching valve is provided to control the flow to the downstream side of the other branch pipe, and an exhaust pressure sensor and a burner are provided in the communication pipe near both ends of the particulate collection filter, so that the particulates flow to the downstream side of the other branch pipe. The burner is ignited when the measured pressure of the exhaust pressure sensor exceeds a set value, and the direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the communication pipe is then reversed by the pipe switching valve.
