一方のフライホイールを駆動側シャフトに固定すると−
ともに、他方のフライホイールは駆動側シャフトに対し
回転可能に軸支せしめてあり、前記それぞれのフライホ
イール間には、互いに対向する傾斜面が形成してあり、
これらフライホイールの各傾斜面間に、スプリングの弾
発力により圧接せしめられるクラッチパッドが介装して
あって、低速回転時には、分割されている前記複数のフ
ライホイールを前記クラッチパッドにより一体的に連結
せしめ、中高速回転時には、前記他方のフライホイール
を駆動側シャフトに対してフリーに回転せしめ、中高速
回転時におけるフライホイールの慣性モーメントを低減
せしめることを特徴とする可変慣性モーメントフライホ
