反軸端側の後蓋との間の軸に固定する車軸の軸端固定装
置において、車軸の軸端に該軸端側の側壁をこの軸の径
方向面にした環状の溝を形成し、この溝の前記側壁に係
合する突起部分を有する保合部材に軸方向のねじ孔を設
けるとともにミ前記押え部材に軸方向のボルト挿通孔を
設け、保合部材をこの突起部分が前記溝と係合する位置
に配置してボルトを前記押え部材のボルト挿通孔を通し
て係合部材の前記ねじ孔にねじ止めし、押え部材と係合
部材とを締結することにより前記内輪を押え部材からの
押圧力により係合部材を押え部材と後蓋との間で軸端に
固定し、かつ該固定時に前記溝の反軸端側の側壁と係合
部材の突起部分との間または押え部材と係合部材との対
向面の間の少なくとも一方に隙間が形成されることを特
