Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain viewing of a screen from the front, even if a cathode ray tube is installed longitudinally or laterally, by providing an adaptor having a reflecting mirror and a switch switching the scanning direction of a scanning line to a television receiver main body side. CONSTITUTION:One end of the reflecting mirror 23 is attached freely turnably to a case main body 21, a shaft 24 provided on the other end is fitted to a circular arc hole 25 provided to at least one side face of the main body 21 and the shaft 24 is slided along the hole 25. The upper and lower surface of the television receiver main body 26 are provided with scanning line direction changeover switches 28, 29. The main body 21 is mounted to a prescribed position by fitting a rib 27 to a groove of the main body 26 and the direction of the scanning line is changed by switching the switches 28, 29 with a projecting piece 30. Thus, even if the screen is directed upward when the receiver is hung on a wall, the screen is observed from the front by mounting the main body 21 provided with the mirror 23.

If you install the television receiver as shown in Figure 4 and view it from the directions of arrows A and B in Figure 4, you will not be able to actually see the television receiver if you try to hang it on the wall. In view of the fact that the cathode ray tube screen is still sometimes viewed from the directions of arrows A and B in FIG. 4, a switch 12 for reversing the vertical scanning by the deflection coil I15 is provided as shown in FIG. , B allows normal viewing of the screen. However, in any case, there is a problem in that it is difficult to hang this type of television receiver on a wall and view the contents.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS One embodiment will be described below with reference to FIGS. 5, 6, and 7. In the figure, reference numeral 21 denotes the case body, which has a box-like shape with an open side, and has an opening somewhat larger than a cathode ray tube screen on one of the sides perpendicular to the opening.
2 is installed. A reflecting mirror 23 is provided inside this case body 21.
will be established. The reflector 23 has one end rotatably attached to the case body 21, and a shaft 24 provided at the other end to the case body 21.
The shaft 24 is fitted into an arcuate hole 26 provided on at least one side of the shaft 24, and the shaft 24 can be slid along the arcuate hole 26. In addition, the case body 21 includes
A row of lips 27 that fit into a groove (not shown) provided in the television receiver body 26 are provided facing each other,
It can be attached to the television receiver main body 26 from any direction. Furthermore, switches 28 and 29 for switching the scanning line direction are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the television receiver body, respectively, and the switch 2B+ 29 is provided on the case body 21 in correspondence with these switches 28 and 29. A protrusion 3o for switching is integrally provided. Therefore, the case body 21 is inserted into the groove of the television receiver body 26 with the rib 2.
At the same time when the switch 7 is fitted and the switch 9 is mounted in a predetermined position, the direction of the scanning line can be changed by switching the switch 28 or the two switches using the protrusion 30.

Here, FIG. 7 & is the normal scanning line direction and the cathode ray tube 3.
Assuming that the normal screen shown in Figure 1 is displayed, one switch 28 is for reversing the scanning in the water direction as shown in Figure 7. By attaching the case body 21 to the television receiver body 26, the shade 1'! 'd! On the screen of the KJA tube 31, a screen appears as shown in Fig. 7, and the viewer can see it from the direction of arrow A in Fig. 5 (by looking through the reflector 23 through the kj guard plate 22) , the image can be viewed normally as shown in FIG. 7a.' The other switch 29 is for reversing the vertical scanning as shown in FIG. Piece 30
By attaching the case main body 21 to the television receiver main body 26 so that the main body 21 is located on the switch 29 side, the screen of the cathode ray tube 31 becomes as shown in FIG. By looking into the reflecting mirror 23 from the opposite direction, an image can be captured normally as shown in FIG. 7a.

In FIG. 5, reference numeral 32 denotes a horizontal/vertical deflection coil, and the polarity of each deflection current supplied to the deflection coil 32 is switched by the switches 28 and 29 to change the scanning direction. Of course, if the case body 21 is removed, the image of the cathode ray tube 31 can be viewed directly from the direction of arrow B.

Therefore, according to the book No. 114, even if a television receiver is hung on a wall and the screen faces upward, the screen can be viewed from above by attaching the case body 21 equipped with the reflector 23 mentioned in 1. You can see it from the front without looking into it. Furthermore, by changing the angle of the reflecting mirror 230, the position of the cathode ray tube screen relative to the transparent protection plate 22 can be adjusted. Reflector 23
may be fixed. In addition, the reflecting mirror 23
Any well-known means may be used to fix the hole 25 at an arbitrary position in the arcuate hole 25.
