起し、かなりの音波の強さを減衰させることができ、更
に減衰した音波が通気窓3′から三方に分れ、通気窓3
3〃に到達すれば又そこで同様に音波干渉が起って減衰
してゆくもので、これを多重の隔室2,2′・・・の数
だけくりかえすことで大巾に音波(騒音)を減少させる
ことができるものである(第4図参照)。
