Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a speaker box with excellent sound quality and efficient reproduction by fitting a buffle to a sound absorbing box while floating it by a buffer member like a sponge. CONSTITUTION:The sound at the rear face of a speaker 1 is absorbed by a acoustic material 5 and a box 3 for sound absorption. Although the box 3 for sound absorption is vibrated by sound pressure in this case, the buffer member 4 like the sponge buffers the vibration from being delivered to the buffle 2. Since the speaker 1 and the buffle 2 are vibrated in the same direction and the effect of the vibration of the box 3 for sbsorbing sound vibrated differently from the buffle 2 is small, the efficiency and sound quality are improved more than those of a conventional enclosed box. The speaker box with excellent sound quality and efficient reproduction is formed in this way.

Generally, when producing sound with a speaker, unless the sound from the back of the speaker is processed in some way, the sound from the front and the sound from the back will be out of phase and will cancel each other out, resulting in poor playback efficiency. It's a theory.

As a processing method, the speaker is (1) attached to a baffle. (2) Install in a sealed box. (3) Attach to the phase inversion box. (4) Attach to a backload type box. etc., but these have the following drawbacks.

(2) is a method in which the back of the speaker is sealed with a box and all the sound from the back is absorbed, but the movement of the speaker cone increases or decreases the internal pressure, which impedes the movement of the speaker cone, making it inefficient and cross-modulating. Distortion is likely to occur.

In (3), a part of the sound from the back of the speaker is brought to the front through a small duct to enhance the low range sound, but as the air continues to vibrate inside the box, it causes resonance with a specific sound. This resonant sound interferes with other sounds, making the scale in the low range unclear and causing poor sound clarity.

(4) is a method in which a horn is placed on the back of the speaker (=I), the phase of the bass range is inverted and brought to the front, and the sound is overlapped with the sound from the front of the speaker to improve efficiency, but the structure is complex and specific 111, which is easy to tune to the frequency of

FIG. 1 is a front view, a lower sectional view, and a side sectional view of the present invention,
Sound from the back of the speaker ( ) is absorbed by the sound absorbing material part 1'El and the sound absorbing box (3). In this case, the sound-absorbing box (3)
vibrates due to sound pressure, but a sponge-like cushioning material (hereinafter referred to as cushioning material) (4) alleviates the transmission of vibration to the baffle (2). Since the speaker (1) and the baffle (2) vibrate in the same direction, the effect of the vibration of the sound-absorbing box (3), which vibrates differently from the baffle (2), is small, resulting in improved efficiency and efficiency compared to conventional sealed boxes. Improves sound quality. Furthermore, the increase or decrease in the internal pressure of the sound absorbing box (3) becomes air -kM%, which enters between the baffle (2) and the sound absorbing box (3) and acts on the entire baffle (2). This gap allows breathing due to the function of the buffer material (4) and also alleviates changes in internal pressure. In conventional sealed boxes, the cone of the speaker (1) receives all the changes in internal pressure, which suppresses the movement of the cone, resulting in poor efficiency and cross-modulation distortion (this is because the sound quality is poor). Also, the baffle (2) By adjusting the gap between the speaker box and the sound-absorbing box (3), the sound reflection conditions inside the speaker box change, making it possible to reduce the generation of standing waves due to specific frequencies.

Figure 2 shows the cushioning material (4) with a gap so that air can freely flow in and out between the baffle (2) and the sound-absorbing box (3). Sound is absorbed by sound-absorbing materials (

Furthermore, the easy movement of the cone of Speaker +11 increases compliance, making the playback sound clearer at low volumes and increasing the dynamic range, and when listening in stereo, the localization, spread, and power of the sound are all outstanding. There was. In particular, the separation of the scales of low instruments such as contrapass is wonderful. In addition, when using it for broadcasting equipment, the sound absorption efficiency (5
) is sufficient without using it, but when using it with a high-fidelity stereo, it is better to use sound-absorbing material (5).
