Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (イI 産業上の利用分野 本発明は燃料電池の湿度制御装置に係り、特に電池渇1
yの検出器に関Tるものである。
(ロ)従来技術 燐酸電解液焔・料電池は、電池反応により発熱し約16
0℃〜″180℃の電池r「動渦度に維持下るため冷却
が盛替であ−る。
従来電池rFA Ifの制御は、第1図、及び?PJ2
B!jに夫々示Tように電池(イ)内に熱電灯などの渇
I¥検出器1o1を埋設Tるか或は電池への空気出入口
に設置し、それにより検出された温度信号によりダンバ
レ場やブロワに)を副節し、供給空気の温度や風量を制
御する・ことによって行ってい1こ。
しかし温度検出器(団を電池内に埋設する方法は、検出
部をカス分離板のガス流通溝に入れる1こめ極細のもの
を用いる必要があると共に直接電極に接する1こめ酸に
よる腐蝕で断線のおそれがあるなど哉械的強度と信頼性
に欠ける。また温度検出器(ロ)を空気の出入口に設置
下る方法も前記方法と同様に外部へ引出Tためのリード
線を8暢とTるなどの問題があっTこ。
し→発明の目的 本発明の目的は電池外で′准気的に電池温度を検出し、
従来の温度検出器を01いた場合の前記問題点を解消下
ることである。
に)発明のIfR成 本発明はti(池の内部インピーダンスを測定すること
により電池法九度を外部から検出下ることを特徴と下る

ーミナルなどの接続抵抗外、R2は主として燐酸電解液
の抵抗外、Cは神々の分極による容19分で、R4は渇
度依存性小さいか、R2、及びCは湿度依存性があり、
′「E油の内部インピーダンスと電池湿度の関係は弔4
図のように単調減少間γりで表Tことができる。本発明
はこの点に着目してなされ1こものである。
実施例 本発明による電池内部インピーダンス測定装置が第5図
、第61ス1に示され、第5Nは直流負荷の場合、ji
46図は交流負荷の場合である。
杓j1記インピーダンス測足装閾(11は、焔、利電池
(FC)と負荷(L)との間に接続され、曲流゛電流計
(21%1+jr iAE屯圧針圧計I、交流′電圧計
111及び定周波・定電流(IKHz・10m A )
の交流発生融(51からなる。第5図の場合この交流発
生機151は電池(FC)及び直流負荷(L)に並列的
に交流を供給し交流電圧計(,11に表はれる交流電圧
は、炉材電池(PC)の内部インピーダンス(Z)及び
負荷抵抗(R)を合成しTこインピーダンス(2T)−
1上って生ずる。
この合成インピーダンス(ZT)は 1  1  1 TZR であり、交流電圧計(/IIc生ずる電圧(v2)は、
交流発生機(5)の出力室1流を12(−足)と1−る
と、v2=I、、・zT とr(る。よって、QJ Auの内部インピーダンス(
2)は z==  2□・・・・・・・・・・・・(1)I21
(−V2 となる。こ\で、I2は一定、v2は交流電圧計(41
の測定値であるから、2は負荷抵47C(R)を測定下
ることにより容易に知り得る。
次に交流負荷(L)の場合、これfニインバータ(IV
)を含め1こものがniI紀直流負荷抵抗(+()と同
様に考えることができる。
即ちインバータ及び負(i;[のインピーダンス(2L
)は、1(ソ流屯圧、4ft31及び的流軍流Jl’ 
+21の測定イ1貞から防1−出される抵イ几4fjH
=−tニインノ(−夕11問■ 有の定数を乗じfこ ZL=ORとなる。
この場合電池インピーダンスとしてtよ、rl’J 4

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 ■ 電池と負荷との間に電池内部インピーダンス測定装
    置を接続し、盲11記測定装置からの各検出信号を制側
    器に入力して前記インピーダンスを演算し、該演算用力
    により電池の冷却度を変化せしめることを特徴とTる燃
    料電池の温度制御装置。 ■ 74ii記インピーダ5ンス測定装置は、直流電流
    計、直流電圧計、交流電圧計及び定周波定電流の交流発
    生陵で構成され工いることを特徴とする特許請求の範囲
    第1項紀蛾の燃料電池の温度制御装置。
