Recently, as relays have become smaller, contact force and separation force have decreased, contacts have become smaller, and contact gaps have become narrower, resulting in problems with welding resistance. For this reason, there is a demand for electrical contact materials with excellent welding resistance.

The reason why the component composition of the electrical contact materials of the present invention is limited as described above is as follows. As is well known, Cd is necessary for maintaining excellent welding resistance and stable contact resistance, and Cd is necessary for maintaining excellent welding resistance and stable contact resistance. If the amount is less than 1%, good welding resistance cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 20% by weight, the abrasion resistance deteriorates even if elements that improve the abrasion resistance are added.
0 to 20% by weight is preferred. Mn is for welding resistance -L
It is necessary for Since it cannot be suppressed by adding Bi, which will be described later, 0.5 to 5
City plastic% is preferred. 'I''e is necessary for improving sublimation drop welding resistance when the oxide opens and closes the contact, and if it is less than 0.5% by weight, it has no effect, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, the wear resistance deteriorates. , 0.5 to 5% by weight is suitable.1
In the case of 3i, the oxide is brittle and easily decomposed, so it improves the welding resistance when the contact force and separation force are small, and the Mn oxide precipitates in a 1-like form during internal oxidation, resulting in poor contact resistance and temperature- Necessary to prevent the rise in temperature from increasing, 0.1% by weight.
If it is not 11ζ, it will not have this effect, and if it exceeds 3% by weight, the melting point of the alloy will be extremely lowered and internal oxidation at high temperature will become impossible, so 0.1 to 3% by weight is preferable. Fe group elements are arc resistant.

It is added to improve wear resistance, and if it is less than 0.0% by weight, it has no effect, and if it exceeds 0.5% by weight, the contact resistance will be high and unstable, so 0.01 to 0.0% by weight. 5i

lz Current: 40Δ input, 10Δ load at steady state; Resistance switching frequency: 20 times/min Number of switching: Contact force until welding occurs: 40g Opening height 1t force = 45g As is clear from the values shown in the right column of the table above Example 1~
The electrical contact made of the electrical contact material No. 7 has a higher number of openings and closings before welding occurs than the electrical contact made of the electrical contact material No. 7, and has excellent welding resistance, and has an equally low contact resistance. Moreover, it can be seen that the variation is small and stable. It can be seen that the arc consumption of the electrical contacts made of the electrical contact material H of Examples 1 to 7 is equal to or less than that of the electrical contacts made of the electrical contact material of Conventional Examples 1.2.

As can be seen from the above explanation, the electrical contact of the present invention (1 material,
It has a stable contact resistance equivalent to that of the conventional electrical contact material made of Ag-Cd0, and has significantly improved melting foil resistance, so it is suitable for the electrical contact material made of conventional Ag-Cd0. It can be said to be an epoch-making product that can be replaced.
