Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen the number of components and to reduce the cost, by partitioning a main tank chamber from an auxiliary tank chamber by a tubular member which is formed by drawing and provided so that it is protruded downward from the upper side of the upper plate of a tank, and thus preparing a double tank of a simple structure. CONSTITUTION:The upper plate 14 of a tank made of steel is connected integrally with the lower plate 10 thereof with the outer peripheral edge 15 of the former lapped tightly over the upper end portion of the outer peripheral edge of the latter. A tubular member 16, which is formed by drawing, is provided in the upper central part of the upper plate 14 of the tank so that it is protruded downward to a large extent therefrom, and it is provided, at the lower end, with a part 16c bent inward. This part is inserted between a supporting tubular member 11 and a bead 12 and pressed on the inner surface of the lower plate 10 of the tank, whereby the upper plate 14 of the tank is connected integrally with the lower plate 10 thereof. Thus, the tubular member 16 formed by drawing and provided protrusively downward from the upper side of the upper plate 14 of the tank forms a partition wall partitioning a main tank chamber A from an auxiliary tank chamber B. Such a construction, not only necessitating no components constituting the partition wall, can also reduce the number of manufacturing processes, thus enabling the inexpensive manufacture of the tank.

(B) Prior art As shown in Figure 3, this type of conventional tank has a tank top plate (
After fixing the upper end flange (3a) of the core case (3), which has a communicating slit hole (2) in the lower part, to the lower surface of the tank top plate (1) by seam welding,
a) is joined by seam welding to the outer periphery 7 flange (4a) of the tank lower plate (4), and a core guide tube ( 6) Fit the lower ends of the tank lower plate (4), the lower ends of the core case (3), and the lower ends of the core guide tube (6) at the same time by seam welding, and then create the auxiliary tank chamber (J3). A main tank chamber was formed around the outer periphery of the tank. (7) is a core frame attached to the periphery of the opening of the tank top plate (1) via a seal packing (8);
9) is a cap fitted to the upper end of the core guide tube (6).
Incidentally, in the conventional tank described above, the core case (3) for partitioning the main tank chamber and the auxiliary tank chamber (B) is seam-welded to the tank top plate (1). Because they stick together, it takes time and effort to perform anti-corrosion treatment after welding, and the tank top and bottom plates (1) and (4) require a separate core case (3), which requires a large number of parts, and the seam Since the connection is done by welding, there are drawbacks such as requiring a lot of man-hours.

In the tank constructed as described above, the core frame is attached to the top plate of the tank by means of fixing means such as bolts and nuts through the seal packing shown in FIG. An air cylinder cap (CIJ) is fitted into the upper opening of the α barrel. (c) shows a wick disposed on the outer periphery of the wick guide tube (18) so as to be movable up and down, and the lower end of the wick is constantly immersed under the oil surface of the auxiliary tank chamber (Bl) to suck up fuel oil. Further, (c) in FIG. 2 is a bolt as a fixing means for fixing the core frame (a).

As described above, the oil tank of the present invention has a partition wall that partitions the main tank chamber (3) and the auxiliary tank chamber (B) by the cylindrical portion aO that is drawn and protrudes downward from the upper surface of the tank top plate I. Since it is formed by molding, not only does it not require the parts that make up the partition wall like in the past, it also eliminates the need for welding work to seam weld the tank top plate and the parts that make up the partition wall, which saves man-hours. It can be reduced and manufactured at low cost. Further, it is more effective if the tank upper plate Q4) and the tank lower plate GO) are joined by seaming process as in one embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to this. Furthermore, a bent portion (16c
) is in pressure contact with the inner surface of the tank lower plate (10) and is supported, so that the tank upper plate αa does not become stiff due to the cylindrical portion αe acting as a support.

(f) Effects of the Invention The present invention is as described above, and includes an auxiliary tank chamber in which a lamp wick is inserted in the outer periphery of the wick guide tube, and a main tank chamber formed in the outer periphery of the auxiliary tank chamber. In the tank, a tank upper plate-built tank is formed by joining a tank lower plate that fixes the lower part of the core guide cylinder and an outer peripheral edge to the tank lower plate, and the tank upper plate is made to protrude downward from the upper surface of the tank upper plate and is drawn. The main tank chamber is provided with a cylindrical portion, and this cylindrical portion forms a partition wall that partitions the main tank chamber and the auxiliary tank chamber.
Unlike conventional welding work, workability is improved, and a double tank can be created with a simple structure without the need for separate parts constituting a partition wall, reducing the number of parts and cost. Furthermore, since the lower end of the cylindrical portion is supported by the tank lower plate, useful effects such as preventing the tank from collapsing can be achieved.
