Traditionally, tapes wrapped in rolls are easily damaged during use if the edges are damaged, and protection of the edges is particularly required.
If these tapes are piled up during storage or storage, the wound layers of the adhesive tapes will come into contact with each other, resulting in deterioration of the quality of the adhesive tape.

In addition, as a means to prevent the above-mentioned winding layers from sticking to each other, there is a method of artificially wrapping each piece of adhesive tape in cellophane, etc., but the wrapping process is time-consuming, and it is difficult to wrap the tape in cellophane. It has a poor appearance and reduces the value of the product. Therefore, this invention is proposed in view of the above points.Since tapes are circular with a cavity in the center, if a shaft rod is passed through the cavity, it will be supported by the space, and the entire tape will be processed in the same way. Focusing on the fact that the conditions are given and that it is rotatable, it is easy to cut, and covers of the same length can be obtained from the circumference, we developed individual packaging using a shrink method for the purpose of integrated packaging. To provide a packaging method which can be carried out arbitrarily and can be packaged with good appearance.

Yet another advantageous packaging method is to extend the above-mentioned covering material coated on the tape part long inward from the tape winding core, collect a plurality of these tapes, and cover the tapes with the adjoining long extended covering material. This is accomplished by packaging materials that are welded together.

Hereinafter, the packaging method of the present invention will be explained in detail based on the drawings, using a typical adhesive tape as an example of the above-mentioned tapes. A plurality of adhesive tapes 1 are wound around a core 2 made of paper by a normal winding means and arranged on a tray 3, for example, at equal intervals. For example, if the diameter of the adhesive tape 1 is 96φ or more and the width is 12 or more, the tape spacing must be 50 or more (see FIG. 1). Next, each of the above adhesive tapes 1
A shaft rod 4 made of an air chuck or the like is inserted into the core cavity 2a to stably support each adhesive tape 1 (see FIG. 2). From the state shown in FIG. 2, the outer periphery of each adhesive tape 1 is covered with a covering material 5 made of a heat-shrinkable film or tube (see FIG. 3). The direction of the covering material 5 is determined in advance so that the heat shrinkage rate of the covering material 5 is large in the circumferential direction of the adhesive tape and small in the axial direction. Next, the temperature required for the coating material 5 to shrink due to heat, for example 1805
By heating it in a heating furnace (not shown) for 15 seconds and immediately cooling it, the coating material 5 shrinks in a wave-like manner (see FIG. 4). After shrinkage of the covering material 5. - The axis rod 4 inserted through each adhesive tape 1 is rotated, and the middle of each adhesive tape of the covering material that rotates accordingly is cut with a razor cutter 16 (see Fig. 5). As a result, the cutting parts of the sheathing material 5 separate from each other due to contraction in the axial direction. Finally, the chuck 7 is fitted around the outer periphery of each of the four adhesive tapes 1, and the state in which the shaft rod 4 is removed (the sixth By further heating and cooling the adhesive tape 1 for 15 seconds under the same conditions as the heating furnace (see figure), the coating material 5 integrally covers the outer periphery of the adhesive tape 1 and the winding layer surface 1a, and extends slightly inside the winding core 2. It is contracted to the extended state (
(See Figure 7). Through the above steps, the tape portion of a single adhesive tape can be neatly wrapped with a covering material.

In addition, as an example of the case where a plurality of adhesive tapes 1 wrapped as described above are assembled and packaged, a plurality of adhesive tapes wrapped with the above-mentioned covering material 5 are assembled, and the outer periphery of each of these adhesive tapes is heat-shrinkable. After coating the coating material 8 made of a plastic film or tube, the coating material 8 is heated in a heating furnace under the same conditions as above for 15 seconds and cooled, so that the coating material 8 shrinks as shown in FIG. A plurality of adhesive tapes 1 can be packaged.

In addition, as another embodiment described above, a plurality of adhesive tapes 1 wrapped with the above-mentioned covering material 5 are assembled, and the tape winding core cavity 2 is
By blowing hot air necessary to melt the coating material 5 into the interior of the adhesive tape a, the adjacent edges 5a of the coating material extending inside the winding core 2 of each adhesive tape are welded to each other, as shown in FIG. Each adhesive tape 1 can be continuously melted and bonded.

As described above, according to the packaging method of the present invention, while rotating the packaged product, it is cut at equal intervals at desired positions using, for example, a cutter that can move forward and backward at right angles in the axial direction of the rotating body. By reheating and recooling the product after cutting, it is possible to eliminate the unnecessary process of making different cutting perforations for each package size as in the past, and also to adjust the moving distance of the cutter in the cutting process. This has the practical effect of being easily usable for packaging items of different sizes.Furthermore, when the tape layer of a single roll of adhesive tape is covered with a heat-shrinkable covering material, the edge portion The adhesive tape is protected and is resistant to scratches, and especially in the case of typical adhesive tapes, even if they are stacked for storage or storage, they are prevented from adhering to the rolled layer surface of other adhesive tapes. It is possible to enhance the appearance and improve the product value without compromising the quality of the product. Furthermore, when a plurality of such tapes are assembled, it is easy to check the quantity of stored inventory, and especially in the case of adhesive tapes, they do not stick to each other. In addition, in particular, tapes that are connected at the edge of the covering material can be easily separated by tearing, and the quality of the separated tapes and the connected tapes will not be impaired. In any case of packaging, it has great effects such as mass production with simple machinery.

Further, the shrinking furnace can be used for shrinking using other hot air, and the covering material may be attached partially instead of over the entire surface in order to facilitate separation during use.
