Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect locations of bent parts of a buried pipe by a detector wherein respective units are linked in a row with given intervals to be capable of bending when inserted into the buried pipe and to become a single bar-like form when withdrawn therefrom. CONSTITUTION:In a state a wire 8 is not withdrawn, a bent part detector 1 is bendable by means of springs 6 with respective units 2-4 being linked together with given intervals through those springs. The detector 1 in this state is inserted into a buried pipe. The detector 1 is then withdrawn in a fixed state with the wire 8 being pulled, if there exists a bent part at a first location of the pipe, pole units 5 are connected to each other in the form of a continued polygonal line to produce resistance against withdrawing, thus indicating that the bent part is present. With the detector 1 being further advanced into the pipe, if another bent part exists also at a second location, the pole units 5 are again bent at that location to produce resistance against withdrawing. Thus, the bent part at the second location can be detected.

Conventionally, in order to detect bent portions of pipes buried underground, for example, a rod was inserted into the pipe to investigate the presence or absence of bent portions. For example, if there is a bend only in the first position, you will know that there is a bend at the length of the rod, but if there is a bend in the second, third, etc. Since it was impossible to insert the rod into the tube at the first position, it was not possible to investigate whether there were any bends at the second, third, etc. positions.

The present invention has improved such problems, and when inserted into a pipe buried underground etc., it can be bent freely, and when removed from the pipe, it is shaped like a rod so that it can be removed from the pipe. It is an object of the present invention to provide a buried pipe bent part detection device for detecting the location of a bent part of a buried pipe based on whether or not it is possible to remove the buried pipe.

The bend detection device in this state was repeated for a predetermined length into a pipe buried underground, such as a quarry pipe, and the wire was pulled with the outer casing 7, and then the wire was pulled. If you pull out this device while it is fixed in place, (1) If there is no bend in this pipe, the excrement unit will become a wire-like rod, and you can easily pull it out without any resistance. (2) The first part of this pipe
When there is a bend in the position of this device? ,'! / means that the measuring unit is connected in a broken line at the bent part in the first position, creating a large resistance to its removal (that's why this device is so big / there is a bent part at the foot length). ,
In the case of a quarry pipe, it can be seen that there is a landslide layer at this position.) (3) Furthermore, if there is a bend at the second position, the measuring unit S is also used at the bend at the second position. is bent, creating a large resistance to removal of this device/
In the case of the quarry pipe, it can be seen that there is a landslide layer at this location as well).
