Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect easily the disconnection between a pad and a conductive circuit by placing a flexible conductive plate on the pad. CONSTITUTION:The flexible conductive plate B having an area almost equal to the pad A is placed on the pad A of a print substrate conductive circuit and an elastic body C having an equal area is placed on the conductive plate B. The conductive plate B is united with the elastic body C and pressed, so that the whole pad A is short-circuited. Then, current is supplied to two conductive circuits D out of three conductive circuits D coupled with the pad A. Thus, the disconnection between the pad A and the conductive circuits D can be detected.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for detecting disconnection in a conductive circuit, and more particularly, to a method for detecting disconnection in a pattern in which one of 14 conductor circuits is a pad and the other is a through hole. .

Conventionally, visual inspection or a conbeater has been used to detect disconnections and short circuits in printed circuit board conductor circuits. However, visual inspection is extremely inefficient, and in the case of extremely minute circuits, it is difficult to completely detect holes, disconnections, and short circuits because it is often overlooked. On the other hand, when a computer is used, a contactor is used to make electrical contact with a printed circuit board conductor circuit, and the contactor is a contact pin or the like, a conductor, rubber, or the like. When using a contact pin etc., (5
) is unstable, and the pinch of the pad part has become shorter in recent years, and the diameter of the normal contact pin is about E from 1.5 to 2.0. □ga
However, contact between the lower spaced pads is extremely difficult.

Further, the contact pin needs to be fixed to an insulating plate having a thickness of about 10 to 20 M, and is used by inserting and fixing the contact pin into the insulating plate for fixation. As a result, the distance between the pads becomes shorter, the accuracy of the holes to be inserted is reduced, and the high cost of the pads is also reduced.

Furthermore, when conductive rubber or the like is used, it is unstable against pressure and is not practical.

That is, the purpose of the present invention is to detect a disconnection in a printed circuit board conductor circuit, and the method is to use a disconnection detection device configured as shown in FIG. ), and then place an elastic body (0) with an approximately equal area on the conductive plate. Then, when the conductive plate (■) and the elastic body (0) are integrated and pressurized, all the pads are short-circuited. death,
By energizing each of the two conductive circuits connected to the pad, it becomes possible to detect a disconnection between the pad and the conductive circuit σ. FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the pad in a pressurized state.

On the other hand, the pad (5) is not flat because there are differences in plating thickness. Therefore, a flexible isoelectric plate is used to stabilize the contact with the pad (4). Preferably, the plate is a flat metal plate having a thickness of Q and good conductivity of about 1 ffi, such as a flexible printed circuit board. In addition, the elastic body (O) is used to properly pressurize the conductive plate (2), and its thickness is preferably about 1.0 to 3.0 mm, and is made of rubber, plastic, cloth, etc. A material with some elasticity is used.

As described above, according to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3, it is possible to detect a disconnection of the conductor circuit between the pad portion (2) and the conductor circuit (to), which has not been detected conventionally. 1. It costs less and can be detected in a short time. The present invention can be used to detect disconnections in conductor circuits of a wide variety of printed wiring boards.
