Abstract

PURPOSE:To magnify and observe a far-off object at night, etc., as well, by installing an illuminating lamp in which a battery is used as a power source, in parallel to a lens barrel, in a gap of the center part of both lens barrels. CONSTITUTION:An elastic inserting and attaching piece 5 provided projectingly on a battery case 4 of an illuminating lamp 3 is inserted and attached to a fitting shaft 2 of the center part of both lens barrels 1, so that the center line of an electric lamp cylinder 6 of the illuminating lamp becomes parallel to the center line of the lens barrel 1. When a switch 7 of the illuminating lamp is turned on, the vicinity of the center part of a field of view of a pair of binoculars is irradiated by a light of the illuminating lamp 3, therefore, in case a platinum filament is used as a light source, an object being 100 meters far off can be observed clearly. In this regard, the illuminating lamp can be attached to a gap between the lens barrels without requiring a special contrivance, and it is convenient for carrying it since a battery is used as a power source.

Originally, binoculars of any type have a slight gap between the lens barrels, but in this invention, this gap is utilized,
In addition, the main body of the illumination light is attached (pull) to the mounting shaft of the lens barrel, so there is no need to add any special measures when installing it.
It also has the characteristic that it can always be set at the center of both lens barrels, regardless of movement of the lens barrels. Therefore, it can be easily installed not only in newly installed binoculars but also in existing binoculars, and can be attached when necessary and removed when unnecessary. Also, if the power source is a battery, it is convenient to carry, and there is no need to make the binoculars case large for storage. For example, if you are using ready-made binoculars, you can put them in a lighting case, and if they are nail mirrors with lighting from the time of manufacture, you can partially modify the inside of the conventional binoculars case and create a space to accommodate the lighting. I can do it.

That is, to explain this invention with reference to an embodiment, the lens barrel 1.1
An elastic clamping piece 5 protruding from the battery case 4 of the illumination lamp 3 is fitted and clamped onto the mounting shaft 2 in the center of the lamp so that the center line of the bulb tube 6 of the illumination lamp and the center line of the lens barrel 1.1 are aligned. are parallel to each other, and the lens barrels are positioned in the standard position on approximately the same plane. The elastic clamping piece 5 is opened at the bottom and has a central portion extending outward, as shown in FIG. 4, for example, and is firmly set on the mounting shaft 2 by the elasticity of the clamping piece. In the figure, 10 is a cover of the battery case.

In the above embodiment, if the switch 7 of the illumination lamp is turned on and the binoculars are used in the usual manner, the light beam of the illumination lamp illuminates the central part 9 of the field of view 8 of the binoculars as shown in FIG. The gazing area becomes brighter, and it is possible to magnify and gaze at distant objects (according to the experimental results, it was possible to clearly see up to about 100 m when platinum filament 1 was used as the light source).
