Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaner, which singly enables to clean and deodorize air and to generate ions, by a structure wherein a cleaning filter and an ion generator are equipped. CONSTITUTION:Indoor air is flowed into an air passage through a filter 5 arranged at a suction port 2 in the course indicated with the arrow 31, when fans 7 and 18 are started by turning a switch ON. Comparatively large dusts are removed from the air when the air passes through the air filter 5. Then, fine dusts and bacteria are also removed when the air passes through an electrostatic filter 6. After that, the air flows as indicated with the arrow. The air is deodorized by contacting with silica sol liquid when passing through a deodorizing filter 8. A part of the air, from which dusts are removed, is flowed through a vent hole 34 in the direction of the arrow 33 and into an ionizing chamber 15 via an air transfer pump 17 so as to ionize at an ion generator 16 into negative ions in order to proceed in the direction indicated with the arrow 33, resulting in mixing with the deodorized air moving in an air passage 4 and then discharging by means of a fan 18.

An air filter 5 is installed in the intake port 2, and an electrostatic filter 6, a filter 7, and a deodorizing filter 8 are installed in this order on the air filter side of the air flow path 4. The deodorizing filter 8 is constructed by impregnating a glass string with a deodorizing liquid (for example, silica gel) 10. 1 in the figure.
1 is a 7J-tridge type tank for deodorizing liquid; 12 is a receiving tank; the upper and lower ends of the deodorizing filter 8 face the tank 11 and the receiving tank 12;
The deodorizing liquid inside impregnates the glass fibers of the deodorizing filter and falls into the receiving tank 12. Further, the tank 11 is connected to the receiving tank 12 by a bow 13,
When the people's liquid level reaches the predetermined level, the receiving tank 1
The deodorizing liquid 10 in the tank 2 is pumped up into a tank 11.

For example, connect an electric signal generator to the setting electrode of liquid level bar 1.
When the deodorizing liquid 10 reaches the setting needle, the electric signal 8 is generated to close the switch of the motor 14, which is started to drive the pump, and when the liquid level drops to a predetermined level,
An electric signal is issued to open the switch of the motor 14 and stop the pump.

When the switch is turned on and the fan 7.18 is operated, the air in the room passes through the filter 5 of the suction port 2 and flows into the air flow path as shown by the arrow 31. As mentioned above, relatively large dust particles are removed from the air that has passed through the air filter 5, and then fine dust and bacteria are removed by passing through the electrostatic filter 6.Then, the air flows as shown by the arrow 32, When passing through the deodorizing filter 8, it comes into contact with the silica gel liquid and is deodorized.

In addition, a part of the air from which pμ has been removed passes through the ventilation hole 34 as shown by the arrow 3.
The ions flow in three directions, enter the ion chamber 15 via the air supply pipe 17, are turned into ions by the ion generator 16, become negative ions, proceed as indicated by the arrow 33, and move through the air flow path 4. The air is mixed with deodorized air and exhausted by the fan 18.

As the air that has been deodorized by J3 is mixed with anions, the molecules of the deodorizing liquid contained in the air combine with the anions, and are further adsorbed to fine particles such as cigarette smoke floating in the air. Therefore, it is possible to purify the air that has not passed through the purifier.

According to the above embodiment, silica gel liquid is used as the deodorizing agent, and tanks 11 and 12 are installed on the top of the dryer so that it can be circulated and used, so maintenance is easy, but it is not necessarily necessary to use a circulation type. In addition, as a deodorizing filter, activated carbon filters and the like shown in Examples can also be used.

That is, according to the present invention, since a cleaning filter and an ion purifying device are provided, a single air purifier can purify the air, deodorize the air, and generate ions. In addition, the air containing the deodorant that has passed through the deodorizing filter and the anions supplied from the ion generator
] Since the mixture occurs near 1, the molecules of the quenching agent become negatively charged. However, since this easily combines with minute particles such as smoke floating in the air, indoor dust, cigarette smoke, etc. can be suppressed.
