Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a titled joint structure which is capable of sealing a joint part at a low cost in a short working time, by providing a projecting line extending over the whole area in the width direction, on one of joint part overlapped faces of two metallic sheets, and constituting so that spot welding is executed along the vicinity of this projecting line. CONSTITUTION:A projecting line 9 is provided extending over the whole area in the width direction on a joint part overlapped face 8 of one plate 7 of two metallic thin plates 6, 7 to be joined, and a position being adjacent to the projecting line 9 of the outside of the projecting line is subjected to spot welding 10 along the projecting line 9. In this way, the projecting line 9 is welded with pressure to an overlapped face 11 of the plate 6 of the other side, and the overlapped faces 8, 11 of both the plates 6, 7 are sealed exactly.

塗装シーラー5を接合部3の端部に幅方向全域に亘って

ため、該シーラーが絶縁膜となって両板間の通電性が悪
くなり溶接不良が生じて強度が低下するという問題点が
ある。また、熱硬化性の塗装シーラーを塗布するものは
塗布の工程が特別に必要であるという問題点がある。

することを目的としている。

たため、スポットシーラーや塗装シーラーを必要とせず
短い加工時間で廉価に接合部のシールが可能となり、製
品のコストダウンおよび生産性の向上が図れる上に、シ
ーラーを使用することがないので作業場の汚れが少なく
、作業環境が良くなるという効果が得られる。
