    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ヘリカル型吸気ポートを具備し、該ヘリカル型吸気ポー
    トから燃焼量中心部に向けて流入する混合気の流速が最
    も速くなるように吸気ポートを配置した内燃機関におい
    て、燃焼室の周辺内壁面から燃焼室の中心まで延びる長
    い電極を具えた点火栓を具備し、該点火栓電極の放電間
    隙を燃焼室の中心部であって吸気弁とその弁座間に形成
    される間隙の近傍に配置してヘリカル型吸気ポートから
    燃焼室中心部に向けて流入する混合気が該放電間隙を横
    切るようにした内燃機関の燃焼室。　゛
