Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the mixing of noises to a service signal even if on/off of a pilot detector is repeated by inserting a filter passing DC power from a power supply to the pilot detecting part and interrupting a signal having a part of the frequency band of the service signal between the pilot detecting part and the power supply. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is converted into an intermediate frequency signal, demodulated to a base band signal by an FM demodulator through an intermediate frequency filter and a limiter amplifier and then amplified by a base band amplifier 7. The base band amplifier 7 and the pilot detector 8 are connected to a common DC power supply through a power supply line 13, but the low-pass filter 17 passing DC and interrupting the frequency band of a service signal is inserted into a power supply line on the pilot detector 8 side. Even if repeating frequency due to noise is generated in the pilot detector 8, the frequency is interrupted by the filter 17 and prevented from the leakage to other circuits through the power supply line 13, so that the noise is not applied to the service signal.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of the FM receiving device. The carrier frequency signal input from terminal 1 is mixed with the local oscillator signal obtained from local oscillator 3 at mixer 2 and converted to an intermediate frequency signal, and then passed through intermediate frequency filter 4 and limiter amplifier 5 to baseband signal at FM demodulator 6. The signal is demodulated and amplified by the baseband amplifier 7.

On the other hand, if the carrier frequency signal is above the squelch level, the pilot signal is detected by the pilot detector 8 as long as there is no other failure.
However, if it drops slightly below the squelch level, the pilot signal level becomes small due to the operation of the FM demodulator 6, and the pilot signal level is detected as being normally present by the pilot detector 8.
It is determined that it does not exist. However, when the carrier frequency signal at terminal 1 drops significantly below the squelch level, the FM noise at the output of FM demodulator 6 suddenly increases.
This FM noise leaks into the filter included in the pilot detector 8 and is detected, making it erroneously determined that the pilot signal exists normally. However, in this case, since the switch 11 is open when the input of the carrier frequency signal becomes below the squelch level, no noise is output from the terminal 12.

Now, since the input level of the carrier frequency signal that has fallen below the squelch level is generally not constant and constantly fluctuates,
Depending on the level, as described above, a state may occur in which the pilot signal is determined not to exist, or the pilot signal is sufficiently low to be erroneously determined to be present. As a result, the transistors included in the pilot detector 8 are repeatedly turned on and off, and the repetition frequency matches the lower frequency band of the multiplex telephone signal, that is, the frequency band of the service signal, resulting in an adverse effect.

In order to achieve the above object, the FM receiver according to the present invention provides a power source for a pilot detection unit that receives service signals such as supervisory control signals inserted into the lower frequency band of a multiplexed telephone signal transmitted by FM. In an FM receiving device in which a circuit is shared with other circuits, DC power from the power supply to the pilot detection unit is passed between the pilot detection unit and the power supply, and at least part of the service signal is transmitted between the pilot detection unit and the power supply. It is constructed by inserting a filter that blocks signals in the frequency band.

According to the above configuration, even if a transistor or the like repeatedly turns on and off in the pilot detection section, the frequency is not superimposed on the power supply, so the received service signal has less noise, which is an object of the present invention. is fully achieved.

FIG. 4 is a diagram for explaining one embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 3 is a partially detailed diagram of the receiving device. The baseband amplifier 7 and the pilot detector 8 are connected to a common DC power source via a power line 13, but the power line on the pilot detector 8 side passes DC but blocks the service signal frequency band. A low-pass filter 17 is inserted. Therefore, even if a repetitive frequency occurs in the pilot detector 8, it is blocked by the filter 17 and does not leak to other circuits including the baseband amplifier 7 via the power line 13. No noise is added to the service signal.

Although the embodiment shown in this figure uses a low-pass filter as an example, other filters such as band-rejection filters can be used as long as the filter passes direct current and blocks the frequency band of the service signal. However, it cannot be said that the same effect can be obtained.

In general, the repetition frequency generated by the pilot detector 8 does not necessarily cover the entire frequency band of the service signal, and may occur only in a part of the frequency band. If the frequency is known in advance, it is clear that the same effect can be obtained even if the frequency band blocked by the filter is limited to a part of the frequency band.

As described above in detail, the FM receiving apparatus according to the present invention has an excellent characteristic that even if the level of the received carrier frequency signal falls below the squelch level, it does not adversely affect the service signal.
